Better, 3DS games playable on Wii U. Like a GBA thing the Gamecube had. I'd love to play Uprising on a big screen.

@Moorpheel: I sure a lot of people would agreed with you but I think Nintendo trying hard to sell more Wii U consoles.

@kkslider5552000: I don't mind getting that game since I borrowed it off my friend. I don't think I would like it until I tried it.

Playing with the gamepad on a vertical position showing both DS screens at the same time wouldn't be completely impossible, since it comes with more than enough buttons on each side to play DS games just right.

It would only be a bit uncomfortable.

I guess DS backwards compatibility was patched out?

And you can download retail 3DS games from the eshop too

Also, the 3DS already plays DS games. That might be another reason.

I'm not really complaining, the WiiU does need the help. But it would make a lot of sense to release these games for both eShops, not just one. We already know that DS games need very little work to function on the 3DS, so they would be easy and cheap to transport. And yeah, it will probably happen eventually.

Yes, the 3DS can play DS games now, it can also play 3DS games... And oh, they already have these for download.

It's just that their current strategy of "3DS? What's that?" they're having with the VC to make the WiiU seem more interesting seems desperate and it kinda annoys me.

Games not released in particular regions or games with limited runs. I'm not at all interested in being able to download and play a major first party release as a DS or Wii VC title because I got most of the games I was interested in. Unless the price is right of course. If however they put up a copy of Excitebots, Fatal Frame IV or Xenoblade.... different story...
