All right, here's a general one. I'm looking at my stack of games, and cannot think of any more I want to buy (that are already out). But somehow I know there's a few more I'd love.
Generally all I really expect is a game to feel 'solid' and well made. And I don't care much for over the top language or gore.

I'll be buying my first ever Wii on Sunday, so what do ya'll recommend I should get for my first game?
(PS: I'm planning on buying the 25th Anniversary Red Wii, which already comes with NSMB Wii, but that's a bundle, so technically doesn't count)

You might check out Klonoa, either of the Kororinpa games, Excite Truck and/or Excitebots, Geometry Wars Galaxies. Look into Fragile Dreams (not in review form, try some trailers); not for everyone, but it's my game of the year for 2010.

You've got a great list of games. I don't know if you'd like any of these but they are "solid" games.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom NBA JAM Trauma Team (this one has some language, but nowhere near as excessive as No More Heroes.) @Kid_A I liked MadWorld better than NMH2. I think ten dollars is a steal.
NOOO WTH! NSMB Wii is 2 more dollars now!?! Why Now I can't get it! D: Will it go back down? All I have is $30 bucks and a 10 dollar amazon giftcard. I probably won't get anymore money this year and there's no other games I want for the year besides Sports Mix which I could ask for my Birthday.

@melvin Similar to your post in the DS recommendations thread, you will never get any deals on the WiiWare games you've listed. They are sold at the store price only. May as well buy them.
So what do you think about the Wiiware games? Do you know some of the prices by heart? Maybe I could buy a card and they will add up to 2000? Also I know that Wiiware and DSi games don't go on sale but I just need some help. You know any Wii games on sale?
