The only game where I noticed this so far is "Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix". I played it from 08. Nov 2012 to 14. Dec 2012 ( = ca. 12-14 hours)* and there is no record in the Nintendo Channel. I don't think there is a way to fix this. It's just not supported in the Nintendo Channel.
*) I only know this because I have my own database (on the PC) where I log my played games.
Some Wii/WiiWare/VC games have never been added to the Nintendo channel (call it lazy or messy!), just like some Wii U games have no community in the Miiverse.
I don't think Nintendo wants to make a complete, polished, nice service.
Some of us gamers would do a better job than the guys and girls at Nintendo that are responsible for these services.
Some of the times for my games never change no matter how often I play, wario's woods still reads 2 minutes even though I've played it quite a bit more than that.
Reala, I suspect its because only the first ten channels accessed each day get recorded on the Nintendo Channel play list time. If you'll notice on your messages, if play more than ten games a day (or access other channels), it'll show "Other". Games played after the list is full don't count.
I used to think that changing the date so that it appears on the first ten list of games that way would add your playtime to the Nintendo Channel. But it doesn't. I change the date when I'm using the internet channel, the shop, youtube or other channels that i don't want added to the first ten games played.
I tend to play games just to raise the amount of time I played them on the Nintendo Channel. So games that don't appear on those records don't tend to get played.
