Topic: Overrated Wii Games

^ Not in my eyes, but it's really a matter of opinion.
I think that Zelda TP, while a great game, it's overrated. it was so damn easy...

NMH is the farthest thing from overrated. Everyone that loves it acknowledges the flaws, and that it could use a lot of polish. They just also realize that even with all of the flaws, it's an incredibly unique, incredibly fun game. Same with Super Mario Galaxy, flawed, but it just does so much right.

You're right in that No More Heroes isn't overrated but please don't compare it to Super Mario Galaxy. lol

You can rent games on ebay? Wow it has been awhile since I've been on ebay. But it would have to be a PAL version which wouldn't play on my console in the US

Galaxy and LoZ are overrated. Radiant Dawn is better than both of those games

They are amazing games that achieve exactly what they were intended to.(Which wasn't a low standered.)

Twilight Princess. Really fun, and all, but far, far too easy. Not only that, my biggest problem with the game is the lack of anything truly new or interesting. There were a few new cool items but everything just felt like the most common elements of Ocarina of Time and everything after set out to stagnate.

World of goo is overrated to me, i played it on my bros wii, and i got bored like 20 minutes in, but thats just my opinion.

Wow! Threads like these always tend to have wierd opinions! Brawl is better than Melee hands down (not taking anything away from Melee, which was brilliant) and was far more than an expansion. You could say that about all "sequels" if your going to say that about Brawl. Sounds like a bit hardcore-ist snobbery to me as with criticisers of S.Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart...and heck the Wii in general! But hey, respect to your opinions n' all, there was mine..;-P

Anyway, here's mine: MySims (well, the whole Sims games), Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing. Not that they're not "good" but hardly "excellent" IMHO. Others are Heatseeker and the Tony Hawks series (though the latter may be because those kind of games don't appeal to me), Sim City Creator, Batallion Wars, Strong Bad, Mega Man series, Space Invaders Get Even, Equilibrio (got a 7 on here, but 6 for me), Godfather Black Hand, Scarface, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Bit Trip Beat (not a 9, but a solid 8)

Well, there are many overrated games, like: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros Brawl etc.

But there are also games, that are very fun and greatly playable on the little white box: Resident Evil 4, MadWorld, Swords & Soldiers, World of Goo, Tetris Party, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII etc.

Trust me, it is. It's a good game but more or less just an expansion pack for Melee. However, you are excused because when Melee came out you were 3. It was better reviewed than Melee too, mostly because of the hype.
Also, I have to put in a vote for LostWinds. It was pretty boring and very short. Also Feba, NMH is over-rated. I have the game and have beaten it. It's good but nothing to rave about. Unlike Blast Works which was one of the worst $30 I've spent EVER.
That's about it.

• Yawn * The labelling of games as "overrated" is overrated to me. People should just take the time to enjoy games, rather than try to find as many flaws in them as possible.

If you don't like the thread, you don't have to post in it, etc., etc.

I find Brawl, De Blob, MadWorld, Twilight Princess and World of Goo the most over-rated titles on the Wii.

Explain how brawl and TP are overrated???

I totally agree with you, besides people have totally different opinions as to what makes an excellent game, just like the saying goes: opinions are like a**h*les, everyone has one..

Anyhoo... here's my list:
My Aquarium

• It's not even a game! and I've had people say to me: "I think it's awesome, and I'm a hardcore gamer"... Like I care.

SSBBrawl

• It's a good game, kinda, but something about it didn't do it for me. It's like Nintendo thought "Oh, let's just throw in some more characters, items and slap together a mediocre single player experience with some collectables and people will be happy to spend their hard-earned cash on this". If it wasn't for online, I'd have left this one on the shelf after renting it 'cause I have SSBMelee and I enjoyed it waaaayyyy more than Brawl.
