I was playing Kirby's Return to Dreamland and decided that I wanted to restart Kirby's Epic Yarn, when I put in the disc (and I keep all my games in excellent condition) the Wii started making this weird buzzing sound and rejected the disc, kind of spits it out because you know when you eject the game, it'll come out enough for you to grab it, now the Wii just drops the game if you don't grab it in time. I proceeded to trying The Little King's Story (since I was playing that game before Dreamland) and the Wii did the same exact thing, one more time, I tried Smash Brothers and yeah, my Wii won't accept my games anymore, also I don't want to replace it or sell it since my memory for Sonic Colors and Smash Brothers cannot be copied onto the SD card.
I've only heard about problems reading dual layer discs. Nothing like this with the Wii rejecting discs. I didn't even know the Wii could push the discs out that far. You haven't hacked it or anything in the likes either?
I'd definitely send a mail or give a cal to Nintendo to hear what they think might be the problem.
Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

Nothing like that, it was weird because I was just playing when it started happening. It has been a while since I played Kirby's Epic Yarn but nothing happened last time I played it.
Mine did the same thing last September, but I haven't repaired it since I know the 3DS could help me wait for the WiiU, there's only one way I'd repaire mine and that's if Nintendo announced a way to transfer GCN titles to a spot on the wii by reading it and then transferring those GCN files to WiiU, $75 to repaire and send over 39 games is an ok deal for me, but from here on out I'll be going all digital because of that

AENIGMA, it made an actual buzzing noise and would promptly "spit" out the disc.
Ugh, it's only a month until the Wii U comes out so I'll just wait no one else plays the Wii anywyas and I can't sell it because it's missing some parts (that I had to give to my friend when he sold his Wii ><).
It might be the Dual-Layer disc problem. My Wii stopped reading dual-layer discs early last year (it was making a loud noise long before it stopped reading), and yes, it does spit the games out every once in awhile.
Have you tried playing an early Wii title? Brawl was the first dual-layer game, and anything released before it should work fine (if it is indeed the dual-layer problem). For example, my Wii still plays Super Mario Galaxy fine.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Sucks because I wanted to finish The Little King's Story, replay through both my Kirby games, finish Mario Galaxy with Luigi and play Pikmin 2 (after I buy it) before the Wii U comes out, but guess I'm going to have to wait Don't really want to send it in since I don't know how long it'll take and I want to be able to make the file transfer immediately, then maybe I'll send it in after.

But yeah, thanks for trying to help
Like I said, the disc drive probably stopped altogether, its what happened to me when I was playing Brawl. Can you hear/feel the drive running at all?

When I put it in, it makes a loud buzzing noise, then spits it out, afterwards it starts making this weird clicking sound that's not as loud.
3Dash, I'll do it after the Wii U comes out since the Wii technically isn't mine I'm patient so I don't mind waiting.
Just send it in then, before my Wii used to make a loud buzz-like noise but played the games. It eventually died out completely, so...just send it in. xD
(its just old)

This happened to me around this time last year actually. Yeah it starts making loud noises and won't accept any disks. The lens cleaner might help for short term use at least it did for mine, but you just have to buckle up and send it in to get it all fixed up like brand-new.
