Topic: If VALVe made a Wii game

I bet they'll make one sometime. Hopefully they can get some PS3/360 players to come to Wii.

i think a Portal game would work very well on the Wii. The wiimote as a portal gun would be pretty awesome.

I don't know. Nobody in their right mind is going to argue that Valve is awesome, but I don't think the Wii is their kind of system. They tend to make games that need something beefier to run them.

Valve is too cool for the Wii.

Gabe Newell, the boss of Valve, has said that the Wii is the only current-gen console he has at home and plays with his family, and that he views the Wii as "a gap in their portfolio". So who knows?

I <3 valve big time! They are one the best developers out there and I would go mad for a Half Life port on Wii or Portal or even Counter-Strike perhaps, ooh imagine that. But... Half Life on the PS2 wasn't good and Half Life 2 on the Xbox was even worse, I'd hate to see half arsed versions again, especially on a Nintendo platform where the PC crowd (such as myself) would rip them apart. The Wii makes total sense though, as these games were designed for a mouse not two analogue sticks, which imo undersell most fps'. Wii = fps, simples.
