Topic: Has Nintendo forgotten about NPC?

1. Pikmin 2 NPC hasn't come to the US, yet it's in every other region
2. We haven't gotten a release since August
3. There are still plenty of games with potential

And yet, there has been no notification as to whether the NPC series has been ended. I'm sure people would snatch up more NPC titles in a heartbeat if they actually released them.

Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion need to be remade so that the controls are easier.
Toadstool Tour needs to be remade so you're actually playing golf.

Someone from Nintendo Company Ltd. said a very long time ago that New Play Control! was a one-off thing and that they wouldn't be making any more games for the series.

Looks like they have, and I'd say that's a good thing.

I didn't think they were gonna make more. I didn't get any of them anyway, but it would have been nice to get a game I wanted like that.

Nice topic. It irritates me that titles like Waverace Bluestorm, F-Zero GX , Mario Sunshine or even a Luigi's Mansion that would've been great potential NPC-titles still should be announced. (will they ever?)

They should at least make a sequel to Luigi's Mansion. That'd be great for Wii.

I don't think Wave Race was really popular on Cube. I didn't like it much, myself, though I don't know why. Just felt like it was missing something. I think the best we're going to get is the jet ski in Sports Resort. F-Zero though needs a sequel, not a port.

Sunshine wouldn't work on Wii. It needs pressure sensitive buttons, which the Wiimote and nunchuck don't have.

You don't need pressure sensitive buttons at all. You could aim fludd with the pointer while you run. On GCN you needed it run and spray then hold down and aim so you could use the control stick for running then aiming. The pointer gets rid of that problem.

Now that I think about it there hasn't been any new NPC in a long while, looks like Nintendo stopped it. I would of loved to see Luigi's Mansion come into this.

Honestly, I haven't played any good games in the NPC series. I tried to love Pikmin but I couldn't enjoy it enough.

I have the Mario Tennis NPC...its not that good. I don't think to make any new NPC. They could just make a Luigi's Mansion 2. With Wiimote and nunchuck. I did buy RE4 Wii and it is much better then the GC. It's all on the game tho.

Why not just make new iterations? Yeah crazy thought, I know.

Besides, there's no fixing Sunshine.

And Nintendo already said they were disappointed with NPC sales so I think they got the hint. Most of us don't want to play old games. We want new ones.

They can just put Gamecube commercials back up for those stuck in the past, the rest of us want Wii stuff.

Neither Sunshine nor Luigi's Mansion can be remade. Pressure sensitive triggers, remember?

But honestly, I still want Pikmin 2. I have NPC Pikmin and MPT and enjoy them both, especially the former since I never got to try the original. NPC Chibi Robo would be nice too.

Super Mario Sunshine was an excellent soundtrack. It's just a shame they made you play through that stupid game to hear it.
