Component cables for the GCN are hard to come by; the Wii fares much better in that regard, so I can enjoy my old favorites as they were meant to be played.

I cant sense difference with component cables on GC games, i've tried Sunshine and Fire Emblem with and without it... maybe its my tv

You may already know this but, if you launch a game and it asks you whether to enable Progressive Scan, that's your clue that the cables should improve the image. In my experience quite a few GameCube games support this feature, although it may not be listed on the box.

Even Animal Crossing supports it which is humorous, because the textures are of such low quality.

Yes I do play GameCube games on the Wii but I only have Mario kart double dash and Super Mario sunshine.

Im a big fan of Mario games :)
