Yeah we have a home page on the story, but what I saw today at Best Buy, Target, Walmart for Black Friday didn't look good for Wii. Nintendo has made a butt load of money on the system and I think maybe everyone that had to have one has one already or maybe its Nintendo refusal to put New Release game on sale, but the Wii just wasn't selling at all. I only saw 1 Wii go out of Best Buy (Im sure a few more did, but I only saw 1) this morning. DSi was selling like it was Free but Wii just wasnt as well as NSMBWii, full shelves at all the stores being passed up by New Releases on sale on other platforms. Shovelware was selling faster than NSMBWii and that is a dang shame. I really hope NSMBWii doesnt go the way of Might Flip Champs on DSiWare. After putting some time in with the game its a system seller, but Nintendo sould have it packed into the Wii at $199. The PS3 sold completely out in under an hour because of the addition of God of War Collection and Little Big Planet Game of the Year Additon Free extras with the system. I would have bought another Wii had it been packed in. Instead I picked up Dragon Age, Brutal Legends PS3 both New Releases for $34.99 and Soul Calibur PSP also New Release for $19.99. You just can't beat a awesome sell price point and with Sonys push, its definately not going to hurt Nintendo in any way, but I think they could have had a Awesome Holiday Year with NSMB Wii being prob the best game on the system just releasing.

/me resists the urge to say "Cool story bro", knows someone else will probably say it for him The Wii would sell like hotcakes this holiday season if New Super Mario Bros. Wii was packed in, but I would never expect any major gaming company to bundle in their only killer app of the year for free. An aside: I just ordered Excitebots: Trick Racing from Best Buy for $16.20 w/ free s&h.
@Odnetnin.... yep that was one of the few good one they had on Wii cheap, the DS had the New Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games for $20 as well as Rythm Heaven, but I already have Rythm Heaven, I bought it the day it released. The PSP had Sould Calibur and Gran Turismo for $20 and both just recently released. Considering the fact that NSMBWii had full shelves it seems like it would have been better to pack it in though. I thought it would be hard to find a copy anywhere and was shocked to see it.

Hmm... I can see your reasoning... A new 2D Mario doesn't exactly excite people as much as a cutting-edge (for the Wii, anyway) 3D one, methinks. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon isn't even worth $20 (already have it), and I bought Rhythm Heaven awhile back too. If I had a PSP I would so pick up Crisis Core for $10! That's a great deal! Anyway, the only semi-good Wii deal other than Excitebike was A Boy and His Blob for $30 at Sears, but I'm cheap right now and love the WiiWare Excitebike, so that's why I ordered it. All in all a decent Black Friday, do you agree?
I picked up NFS: Nitro and Watchmen Director's Cut on Blu-Ray for $10 each at Amazon yesterday. Right now I'm squatting the lightning deals to see if I can grab me some cheap GTA and EA Sports Active: More Workouts.
Oh, and Dead Space: Extraction is $20 at GameStop. You'd be a fool not to get it.

Software is easy to mass-produce and flood the shelves with; if a store knows a game will be a big seller they've probably got boxes of it in the back.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I live in Argentina, there is no Black Friday or White Monday(?)
I think it's Cyber Monday, where all the online shops have their blowouts. Of course, Amazon and a lot of other places have been going strong all week.

I haven't seen any on sale, which isn't surprising considering it'd be essentially free money.
@Panda..... yep, your right, and the cards do NOT add into a "Buy $100 worth of anything in store and get ...... whatever" as its considered the exact same as buying a gift card. I found that out the hard way at Toys R Us the other day. Oh.... are you a new Moderator, I haven't seen you before.
