Topic: Wii U Themes would be nice

So I just downloaded the Splatoon 3ds theme and now I am sitting and thinking how awkward it is. Seriously, a Wii U game that is not on the 3ds having a theme for it- that's weird. They should make themes for Wii U and they should adapt all of the 3ds themes to the Wii U so that we could have them make more sense. I have a feeling they will do this in the future.

Being an HD console, and with the Wara Wara plaza being full 3D, I can see them being a bit trickier (more expensive) to make.

Maybe that's why they haven't made them yet.

I see that issue. It would be cool if the floor of wara wara plaza got changed to the image for a theme and the bottom screen gets changed to high resolution picture of an already existing or new one.

If they were crossbuy that would give me some incentive to buy more than the 1 theme I have bought.

I would love it if they went all out with it since the Wara Wara Plaza is 3D. Essentially you'd be able to change the scenery. Like instead of the blank white plaza, you could make it like Hyrule Field, or an Animal Crossing town, or the Mushroom Kingdom, or a Pikmin world with lots of plant life, or Inkopolis.

like they did with the animal crossing thing for wiiU? that would be cool. and not such a cheap cash in like the themese on 3DS are. still cant understand why someone would pay money for those

One stupid thing I'd like to see is new icons for the touch menu folders. Now, everybody has VC games stored in NES/SNES/GBA etc folders right?! Why don't they make icons that look like NES/SNES etc?! Or customizable icons where you can choose a combination of colours? It would make the menu more lively. The coloured icons we have now are functional but they look like they were made with MS Paint and the font is horrendous.

What's wrong with just having themes on both? It's a nice method of customization for the console. If you don't want to get a theme, then just don't. I think having the option to design your home screen with the style and sounds of a game series would be awesome though.

I'd get a Mighty Switch Force theme for my Wii U. Love that game.
