Wow, great figures I feel. Especially with the current economy situation and with big competition with tablets, smartphones ect.. Good job ninty.

But MS smashed Nintendo as they sold more xbox 360's than both Wii and Wii-U combined.... Just wow.

And well the Black Friday push for Xbox 360 in terms of pricing was really agressive. I expect next year's Black Friday for Wii U to do really well..

Wii U almost completely sold out, it was sold out in a lot of places. Therefore it is unwise to compare its sales with the Xbox at this stage of its life.

Not the mention the price points are nowhere near each other.

Lol no need to panic people. 360 sold a lot more consoles. This shouldn't shock anyone. Wii U had limited stock yes, Wii lost steam long time ago, chill out.

I wonder how many of these people are going to be excited to buy another Xbox (720) next Christmas season.

I'm not. Xbox 720 and PS4 will not be as good compared to the Wii-U next year. By the time they are released at around £400-£500, the Wii-U will be price dropped and will have a bunch of A+ games like Zelda, kirby and Pokemon ect and it will have stable firmware with many eShop exclusives.

I know I will be. Call me crazy but a new console is always exciting. Think I'm going to get around to getting a Wii U after the holidays are over. But I have always bought Xbox consoles on launch day.

Always? You mean all 2 times right? Sorry but always should mean a common trend, not twice, like for me I don't always buy Nintendo consoles at launch (only 3 systems)

Always can't cover the Xbox brands life? Before that it was Sega but I didn't get them all on launch day.

I'm pretty sure part of it is because a lack of supply with the Wii U. It completely sold out. So it's not an issue of demand. Nintendo just needs to get more out.

Granted, Halo 4 also came out recently, so I'm not too surprised either.

Just wow" Of course they did they sold Xbox 360's for $99 With a two-year contract for their online service or $200 or $150 for 4 GB console, And like you said in this economy people don't want to shell out $380

I was just surprised when they tried to sell the Halo 4 console w/ the Halo 4 game, BUT NO KINECT, for $400. That crap is just ridiculous. Xbox isn't even worth $400 w/ OR w/o Kinect anymore, and that's if you think Kinect is even worth it in the first place. Xbox 360 Halo 4 edition should cost $300 at most, WITH Kinect. Same thing with PS3. Sure, they slim down the consoles, but the console is still the same. People selling the BC PS3 w/ 80gb for $200, is ridiculous, too.

One week+a Wii that everyone has=Wayyyyyyyyy less than a full month of something that not everyone has. People were also probably keeping their money for the Wii U, only to find out that it was out of stock.
