I don't think these are counted as VC. You can't use the Gamepad for these, but you can use it for any Wii games that used the Classic Controller. None of these are released here yet.

i see... so i cant use the classic controller for metroid prime trilogy?

They are essentially the same games as on the Wii. If the originals did not use the classic controller, then these will not

I think Pandora's Tower is on their to-do list. That's classically controlled.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

(appaerntly, it has a fatal glitch in it, according to my friend ceris)

It should work for Punch Out but not the Prime Trilogy because one supported the classic controller and the other did not.

Dang, I thought punch out supported everything since it even supported the balance board but I guess not. You don't need a nunchuck though.

I love the fact that the original prime trilogy sold out and was praised highly... Now that it's 20$, and people are actually playing it, the motion controls aren't so hot... guess I was right to wait.

Who said that? Metroid Prime 3 (haven't played the other two with motion controls) is great with the motion controls, and it is super unlikely that it will ever be released without motion controls.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I have no place to judge the game but from what little I've tried, the motion controls were cramping my arms and weren't that comfortable to me. Will this get better over time? I want to know if I've wasted money on the game.

Sounds like you just need to adjust how you are playing it. You don't need to be pointing straight at the screen. Just keep your arm relaxed and make sure the sensor bar is registering your movement. For $10 you can buy a wireless motion sensor bar and that can help. You can then place that bar wherever you want without having to worry about pointing directly at the screen. Don't continue playing if it is uncomfortable, find a comfortable position to play in. Those are my recommendations.

The motion controls in MPT are very nice, for me...don't know why people complain. The pointer interface is superior to any available control method for consoles, and is almost better than a keyboard, and mouse.

Motion controls in Metroid Prime is the definitive control scheme for me. Like Resi 4 I much prefer it to Gamecube controls.

An important thing I just found out is these digital Wii games give 250 Club Nintendo stars each!
