Oooohh I missed this thread. Very excited about the possibilities of this statement. Turning their characters into pop culture icons in mediums outside their home turf is what's made Marvel so successful now and what has been keeping Disney successful forever. I'd love for Nintendo to do the video game equivalent of that, they certainly have enough well known and classic characters to pull it off. I'm drooling over the prospect of seeing more Nintendo themed merch lining up Hot Topic and fye's walls. And Lego Nintendo? YES PLEASE.

LEGO stuff sounds the most reasonable, as neither Sony nor Microsoft have stuff that would be successful in that department. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw official Nintendo characters costumes for kids (perhaps a Zelda themed backpack, Fire Emblem jacket) , plush toys (Kirby would be a perfect fit) and really random stuff such as coloring books, stickers etc.
It's really weird that Nintendo isn't pushing that stuff, because when I was younger I used to go crazy over the stuff that my father used to bring me from the US along with Nintendo Power magazines - stickers, posters, cards, even a smash bros t-shirt.
A movie based on the Metroid series would be pretty good, but as most of you know, we already have the Alien movies. There are great Alien videogames, but none of them top the Metroid games.
I think we should keep it that way.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
DC / Marvel / Archie In depth comic books? Like the ones in Nintendo Power, only actual series.
Actually, an F-Zero animated series would amazing... Though wasn't their an anime? I'd actually like Star Fox Comic by Archie, especially if it meant Star Fox X MegaMan X Sonic. You have to admit that would be great. Or better yet a Smash Bros ongoing comic awesome! OR EVEN BETTER.... Rambles on the possibilities for several hours.
