Topic: Virtual Console on Tuesday.

Until they add GBA and GameCube, I'm more excited about the update, tbh!

The update will improve so much. Download and install while it's off is probably the best feature they're adding IMO, but games loading fast will be great.

So I have to ask I still have yet to transfer my Wii stuff to my Wii U. I already have Fzero and Balloon Fight due to the 30 cent deal on the Wii U VC. If I transfer my stuff from my Wii to Wii U will it delete FZero and Balloon Fight?

I hope we get the update by tomorrow. Nintendo be ready to bring a lot to the table cuz it took you so long to start fixing things.

No, the transfered games will go to the Wii emulator. Your Wii U eShop VC games will not be effected by them. From what I understand, even if you pay the $1-$1.50 for the upgraded version of a game, the original VC version will still be in Wii mode.

But I swear it already does that! Mine downloaded the Trine 2 demo when it was off.

I'm not really sure. I've accidentally had auto power down set for 1 hour, and forgot to set it to power down after downloading.
Downloads that I know would have been done weren't ready to install, but like you said, it seemed as though it got some data somehow while it was off.
Whatever the case, we can be sure of consistent and fast operations from Wii U in just a few days.
We all know the Wii U can do WAY more than it's doing now in terms of operation, we just have to wait. We didn't get Windows 8 by skipping the other Windows OSs.

i honestly cant wait to be able to boot straight into wii mode as trivial as that may sound haha.
