for the records Nintendo's releases this year included crossover-y NES Remix 2, a Pushmo game, a Chibi Robo, a Mario Kart, a Donkey Kong and is releasing a Zelda version of a different franchise and the 4th Smash Bros in 15 years. And that Captain Toad thing. They are publishing Bayonetta 1+2, Fantasy Life (I THINK?!) and Prof. Layton vs. Phoenix Wright and published Bravely Default earlier this year.

this is a meaningless conversation for me but I like listing things but I will say the only thing comparable from Nintendo would be sometimes Pokemon, Mario the past few years until this year (and including Gqlaxy 2 in that would be super arguable at best) and that's about it? I guess once they released OOT remake the same year as an actual new 3D Zelda and the Oracle games followed by LTTP remake was a thing once. Unless the entire art of design differences or aesthetic mattering no longer exists, in which case I will probably stop playing franchises soon enough! (egoraptor's sequelitis means nothing anymore)

I feel sad for the people who actually wanted an assassins creed game for the wiiu this year. Now their not getting one this year or next year and the reason,why oobisoft is doing this cause of sales.

What really sucks is the symbolism this has. This really does mean that Watch Dogs might just be the last game we see from Ubisoft in a long time on Wii U.

Agreed but not all of it is Nintendo's fault. Some 3rd party developers are stubborn glances at Rockstar. Those are the LAST guys who should be worrying about losing money on the Wii U. GTA V made countless of money and is about to make more. They won't even attempt to see how the game would sell on Wii U but its getting ported to Xbox One and PS4. Same applies to Tomb Raider and even Street Fighter. Some of this companies refuse to even TRY. And then there are the 3rd party games on Wii U that are just poorly executed.

You mean EA and Ubisoft. There happens to be more 3rd parties than that. Some of them even have a decent understanding of the Nintendo audience.
