Topic: Ubi confirms Assassins Creed: Rogue is skipping the Wii U

I still don't why they didn't release Rayman Legends on the Wii U in March 2013. and afterwards release it for the rest of the consoles in August. Especially when it was only 2/3 weeks out. That was a lame move for sure.

Didn't it have something to do with Microsoft's policy of not getting multi-plats later than other consoles?

In which case, it probably would have been more worthwhile to just release it on Wii U and Sony consoles. I don't think it sold well on Xbox anyway.

Cool to see I am not the only one willing to survive with that console combo. PS3 will still be getting new games (like MKX and The Evil Within), so I am covered. As soon as Scalebound and Uncharted 4 are released, I will then be able to decide which console to get, if any.

What a shame. I really am interested in Assassin's Creed after playing through Black Flag. But aside from the Ezio games (which I plan to get on Steam), I'm going to actively not buy AC games unless they come to Nintendo consoles. I know it's a stupidly and unnecessarily stubborn thing to do but I think Ubisoft is being just as difficult if not more.

It's a really unfortunate situation because I don't care about Watch Dogs as a game; I think it'd be a really interesting movie. But I don't want to play it. And then Ubisoft will complain that no one bought it on Wii U (after it released everywhere else and the reviews were unanimous in that WD was completely mediocre) and then drop Nintendo support completely.

I'm surprised more people aren't burned out on AC yet. It's the same game just re-skinned every couple of years in a new time period. Ubisoft are gonna flog that dead horse for years and years to come.

Sounds like most zeldas... Alltp, Oot, and TP are mostly the same games just afew different items and dungeons, but the same main story. Collect three relicts, get master sword, do more dungeons,defeat first part of final boss, face the final boss

Which is probably why it's a good thing that Wind Waker HD, ALBW and Hyrule Warriors are actually different games.

I say this as someone who was a big AC fan just a couple of years ago. AC got old, Zelda hasn't. I can think of reasons but I've played them plenty, and that's the conclusion I've gotten.

I think I saw ships for this version, so it's probably the better Assassin's Creed coming out tbh.

Whereas Unity is looking to be the most uninteresting game in the series.

Everything that is popular (Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield), are the same games released every year. Yet, you buy games off of the VC, buy games like Wind Waker HD or New! Play Control Pikmin or even New Super Mario Bros., and Wii Sports Club.

Let me explain this slowly: Nintendo fans consistently trash and dismiss any Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed because every installment is 'the same game', lol. Still here? Okay, then those same Nintendo fans buy the same game they bought ten, twenty years ago or even worse, buy a direct port of a GameCube game (with added Wii remote functionality, woopy!), and enjoy themselves with what is, quite literally, the same game.

and to be fair by the time they were done with 3D World, I think everyone regretted the rapid releases of Mario games right before then

though the people who keep buying mario 3 should feel bad because they already own mario 3 what is even the point

If it helps unkink your panties a little, I also double dip with PS3 games that I already bought for PS1 and PS2. I just like having my favorite games in one place and don't mind paying twice for that convenience.
