So, since Earthbound Beginnings is a thing on Wii U, Starfox 2 is obviously a possibility. I wouldn't mind playing it, seeing as Starfox Zero will have the same little Arwing walker. It makes sense to release this in the same fashion as EB Beginnings. Discuss...?

@SCAR392: There was an E3 interview where someone from Nintendo said they wouldn't be releasing it. i am sure I can find it when I have time to go look.

A link would be nice. Regardless, they COULD say that and end up changing their mind, or possibly whoever said that, didn't actually know. That's usually how it goes.

If they continue to learn from the experience and make a similar but still modern take on its ideas, I'd actually be happier than playing the old, unfinished game...
@CanisWolfred:
It was a finished game. I think it wasn't released, because Starfox 64 was already going to be a thing. Starfox 2 actually looks like more of an interesting game than Starfox 64, IMO. The graphics are just not as advanced and that's it. I don't think they ever officially translated it like they would have to do with Mother 3, if they ever released that game in the west, so that's where that falls in with the discussion, as well. All of these are kind of "lost" games.
@Bass_X0:
Kind of like Excitebike World Rally, Bubble Bobble Plus, Burgertime and Arkanoid Plus, Those were fine remakes for simple games that don't really have to overhaul graphics or anything, so that's a good idea, but that will probably never happen. We never even got Starfox SNES on VC, because of SuperFX, but that way would still probably be easier than remaking them.
