Hey everyone remember Soul Saga that has been in the news for the pass couple days. Well its official Soul Saga has reach its goal and its been confirmed by http://www.cubed3.com that the game is coming to the wii u eshop. So what is your thoughts about this? As for me I'm quite happy.
Very much looking forward to this. What's kinda sad is that I'm looking forward to more of the Indie titles such as this and Rusty Pip more than a lot of the other games coming to the Wii U.
I heard a lot of people were put off from backing because of the chibi style which is a shame. I didn't mind either way to be honest I was sold by the words RPG and Wii U coming coming together
"I am planning to put the player's cell phone on it. The player will have a smart phone in a steam punk-esque design. You'll get e-mails and messages from your Guild Members and friends around the world, and all that will be right there. So as your'e exploring your GamePad might start ringing and you can answer it. I also want to put the radar and altimeter of the airship on there as well." - Mike Gale, Soul Saga developer
Why can't other third parties see the potential of the GamePad to enhance games? :/
He told me it didn't correspond to what he wanted, which is fine.
Now in september 2013 (2 months later) he shows a new character design which is completely different from the old one he had but looks pretty close to what I had showed him back then.

So, what's your point? He didn't clearly copy you. He may have been influenced by you but so what? What I am asking is should we be upset? Are you upset? It'd be one thing if he clearly took your character designs, but you don't own that style, I have seen that in other games and movies, he is just using that style. Nothing to see here.
Look I am not trying to attack you here, but I read your post and it seems like a lot of sour grapes. You showed them your style and work, which isn't unique or completely original, he didn't want anything to do with it at the time, and then after some time, they decided to change their game to a similar but not identical style.
