Topic: Metropolis

@Ryno That's my company's name. I named it after the hardest zone in "Sonic The Hedgehog 2". "Metropolis. We're Hard to Beat".

I also got Grant Kirkhope to do music for my game. Now I just need to get David Wise.

And here I thought this would be a thread about Fritz Lang, legendary German film director, and his 1927 masterpiece silent sci-fi film Metropolis.

Or maybe about the Motörhead song of the same name. Either or.

@1337man1233 I get your point I mean it sounds crazy someone's first game being for a big console instead of an underground PC game released in some file sharing site and with the only monetary income being those "adsomething"s.

if you don't know any programming you're either screwed or in for 1-2 years of development to make a simple game...
I'm learning C at college and so far it's only text... the second year I'll learn Java and Visula interfaces...
but C# might be easier as I heard it's a really high level language, so you won't go through the process of learning a middle level language before... here goes a hint: start going to programming forums and sites and learn little by little, or start a programming course(that's the safest, but slowest, route)

I'd say it's a joke but it's already too confused to possibly be one so I'm just confused.

take it like this, if it's a joke you won't lose anything. so why not believe? I mean if it is a joke the only one that might, but probably not, face any consequence is the OP anyway.
