Atlus got bought out and had to rush 5 different games, and is now making a new entry in its most popular series. I highly doubt they've had a lot of time to work on it.

I thought they were only working on 3 games SMT X FE, Persona q and Persona 5, Pretty sure Arc System Works is doing ultimax and Dingo Inc. is doing dancing all night.
So given that they have to be working on something since then, and that Game and Wario (really rushed game) obviously didn't have as much resources pushed towards development...
You can probably expect this game out by the end of 2015 at the latest. 3 year development cycle sounds about right if they started working on this after Awakening. Also, given that they are co-developing this game with Atlus it could be released even sooner.

Elaborate first
The first trailer will come in 2015 (meaning we won't see jack this E3 regarding this game.) and the game will be released in somewhere 2016. That's my hunch. Bet? I put down 50,000 Bells or my lv80 Pidgeot.
I don't get why people seem to worry about this and Yarn Yoshi. Just because we don't get footage don't man the projects are dead..
It's a matter of everyone being spoiled by the internet. We want information as soon as possible....which is also why rumors are so rampant these days
You calling me spoiled? I was just wodering if the game died or if they said anything else about it. Two of my fav series are crossing over, it should be great :3 I can wait. Just tell me this thing is still on, Nintendo

Had I not seen this topic I would be clueless as I've been watching the other. Is it really that old? Felt like less then 4 months ago we were talking about this.

Last I checked Nintendo hasn't said one word about this game in over a year now. At the very least they should've shown something by now!? I can see you saying spoiled if it was less then 6 months but a year plus? Doesn't stop them from throwing Tropical Freeze or other top franchises in our face 1 every 2 months!
