@Dreamcaster-X no this is a standalone title. The dlc version bolts onto the original game. The boxed version contains only super luigi u. I'm thinking a boxed version containing both nsmbu and super luigi u will be a discount option in 2014

I didnt care for colors generations or unleashed. Hopefully lost world will leave the gimmicks behind. I did enjoy the black knight tho so my tastes of sonic games is a tad off.

i too agree that the visuals need more oomph. however, this game has another 6 months before its out. thatsvplenty of time to pollish. i'm partial to four swords adventure's filter myself.

Storywise and timeline placement should be interesting as the dark world no longer exists at the end of ALTTP.

Ive had it for 4 months and never connected with anyone. If it drops another 10$ I definately recommend it for the dumb story, whimsical character designs and voice acting. But the 50 plus characters really shine in multiplayer.

While i love this game, and hope for an hd rerelease, skip this game. The online modes have been dead for quite sometime and they make up the majority of the experience.

Gonna have to pass on it initially with wind waker so close to it. Im disappointed with this consoles launch and its definately my last day 1 console purchase from nintendo. A first since the snes

The inability to tirn left and right while using the vaccuum or strobe is more cumbersome then the review lets on. Especially if youe replayed the original in anticipation of this release. Fortunately i had a gold bone early on as ghosts attacked from all
sides and i was helpless while strobing the ghosts initially infront of me as they appeared behind. Strafing could have easily been implimented by assigning turning to the circlepad while strobing or v

Monster hunter 3ds is garbage to control. Why nintendo refuses to release a 3dsday with dual circlepads is beyond me. I dont agree with his assertion that the dual screen is a gimmick though. On wii u it comes incredibly handy for map and item usage.

i think they are tooting their horns too much. i've played meatboy and isaac for free on newgrounds and neither are "classic." hopefully, they are joking cause arrogance doesn't look well on them.

I hope it sells well enough to show capcom that revelations was a much better direction for the series then 6im was.

i once met someone on drawsomething. we were randomly paired up and eventually started talking. after a few months of texting and messaging and talking we met in person and we dated for just under a year till they moved to deadhorse alaska... yep. that happened. i even did a piece on colors about it. haha.

by far the better direction for the series over 5 and 6. love this game on 3ds and more people should experience it. i may even snag a wii u copy if the timing is right.

Well, the money I earmarked my game budget for went to Fire Emblem. Unfortunately with the parade of games coming in fall I'll be forced to pass on this title. The comments made by Ubisoft and the blatant bird flip to the audience they were enticing with this title is why I've second-guessed my relationship with Ubisoft. Call me a child or whatever you want but in the end its my money and I'll spend it where and how I see fit. There are many great publishers with great development teams out there who have great games to offer.

i get that ubisopft doesn't want to have to market the game twice but they did this exact same scenario, minus the exclusivity which doesn't phase me, with Rayman Origins on 3DS. They release an awesome demo and then delay the game by several months. only problem is GTA5 is expected to drop in september so the majority of ps3 xbox gamers will be grabbing that. i ended up passing on origins due to the delay and i guess ill pass on this as well. had the money for it in feb tho.

i don't know why people are refusing too see that this game is going to be a repetitive hack and slash that looks to have framerate issues or floaty physics. i'm guessing it will review around a mid to low 7. castlevania didn't need a reboot. castlevania didn't need quicktime events.

i am hoping for character customization, even if limited, due to the thought of playing an entire game with those stupid sunglasses over the hat.

this game needs a demo. i love it. i read ign's review and actually debated a day or 2 to get the wii u because this was the first game i wanted. finally i just took the jump and got my wiiu deluxe downloaded the game and i love it. it won't be for everybody due to its shortcomings but neither was resident evil. hopefully ubisoft won't turn its back on this potential franchise.

are the demos coming at a later date or are they buried in wii u's eshop? also i own and beat adventure time and its a simple throwback to zelda 2 that controls great looks simple but pleasant, better in 3d, and an awesome short soundtrack. but theres very little voiceacting. its pretty easy and a few few hours long, < 3. i think $15 would have been very generous, had there been voiceacting. although i've never seen the show i found the plot to be whimsical and funny. so its a good game thats priced high. i don't regret owning it.

@Nilkad_Naquada Nintendo has stated that both 2D and 3D mario games will coexist from Super Mario Galaxy 2 and NSMBWii on. So essentially they are two different takes on the same fundamentals. The 2D Mario games have become more casual affairs, and while 3DLand blended both, it will be interesting to see how they differentiate this new game. But as I stated before.... LEVEL EDITOR! HEAR THAT NINTENDO? Level... Editor...

too bad they delayed this game and are releasing it after resident evil and before kid ikarus. i would have piucked it up prior to all these big releases. will have to wait it out. hopefrully i dont forget about it but i'm sure the nightmares of the demon boy will remind me for years to come.

i thought this game was a prequel to 5. Am I wrong? I thought that was why it is not a numbered title. Looks gorgeous and the circle pad controls beautifully in the demo.

just because people were bringing up sd cards i have a question. if i purchase a new sd card can i move my current files onto he larger sd card? i'm not technically savvy so to speak so use lamens terms please >_<

i don't care for timeline debating, however, i find the timeline to be highly interesting. i'd rather have a great playing series with the extra layer of an interwoven timeline and history then one without the added curiosity. afterall the franchise was built on free thinking.

@43 when talking about a series you do. if a mario game were to be released with poorer controls then smb you take note. so in the kirby series theres no reason to not recommend a game in a series over one which suffers bland level design and poor controls. this is just my opinion though and i can see why people would like this game. i played it on gba as well as my 3ds and i stand by my thought that there are better games in the series.

After playing the amazing Squeek Squad its hard to return to this game, free or otherwise, its controls are sluggish, level design bland and the gimmick of four kirbys horrendous. i haven't played return to dreamland yet but i highly recommend squeek squad over this, and over super star ultra for that matter.

the hero of time never saves hyrule before wind waker because zelda sent him back in time. so were there 2 child links existing in one time? link A goes to look for navi who was never sent back with him and finds his way to terminia while link B who was just starting out on his adventure in OoT failed leading to this 3rd branch? also i'm pretty sure someone on youtube covered a 3 split possibility timeline before. anyway, finally playing thru minish cap which is quickly becoming my all time fav game in the series.

they released the NES games the day prior to the date they had listed, I also am not sure why but my 3ds always notifies me about the updates or stuff of any importance usually a day or two AFTER I downloaded them. I'm still waiting on my notice for the latest firmware update that I downloaded days ago...

Aside from the awesome controls for Skyward Sword, I think the increase in production values added to skyward's charm too. The cinematics were beautifully choreographed with Ghirahim's ritual dance during the spell cast scene being both hysterical and creepy. Although, I must admit that Twilight's horse drawn carriage chase is still my all time favorite Zelda moment. Whatever the case may be for the new Zelda I have total faith in Nintendo's decision making.

i recommend freaky forms. if you like spore you'll enjoy this game. its creation tools are rather limited but working within the confines of this wierd french overtoned game is addictive.

I personally would love to see the bright and vibrant toon shaded zelda world brought to 3d whether it be a new game or a remake. whatever graphical style they go for i am expecting a better note taking map (ie the ability to zoom or just larger maps in general)!
