Guess the Title says it all.

When Nintendo decides to cut live support for the Nintendo Wii so early even trough Nintendo have sold a butload of wii consoles it does look good for the future of Wii u consoles.

this has absolutely nothing to do with the Wii U
there's a reason why they've cut the support for online multiplayer etc. for the Wii... they had to, contract was over

  • now they can fully focus on online services/features and online multiplayer for the Wii U and the 3DS/XL.. this is good news

It would be less offensive to use insults in the first place -Lz

Yoshi

Oh, boo hoo, Nintendo cut my FREE online service.

It hardly matters now. The only Wiis sold retail are the Wii Minis and those don't have any internet capability.

Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

There is plenty reason to not own a wii u without making them up or mentioning things not really related to it.

So early? The last first party game on Wii was released three years ago.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

So early?! Dude, it's been over 7 years since the first online games on Wii. Deal with it.

All online servers eventually get cut off, so you would be saying never buy any system ever again.

Anywho, we can continue discussion on the thread dedicated to the Wii's online demise: https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/general_discussion/nintend...
