So who here is excited for Bayonetta 2. I'm very glad Nintendo saved the sequel, even though it is not on PS3/360, still be thankful it is coming at least.
I heard it will be more difficult similarly to how Super Mario Galaxy 2 was to SMG1, where the beginning of the 2nd games is as difficult as the end of the first game. I had heard that in the developer video from the conference a while ago. What do u think it will be about? I hope it makes Nintendo references like how the first game made references to Capcom and Sega franchises.
Also do any of u guys hope to see Bayonetta 1 on Wii U, even if it's a digital re-release only on eShop? I would be very glad to pay for this game a 3rd time. SOOO AMAZING!!!
i'm looking forward to it a lot. of all the games announced during this quarter, this is the one i am most excited for. as long as the gameplay is as challenging as the first game, and it's as exciting, then it will be worth it. and yes to bayonetta on the eshop - it would give wii u owners the chance to play it and see why it is considered one of the best games to come out of this generation.
I signed the petition. Since I never played he first one really hop they release the first game...
It's AMAZING!!! Think of it as an improved Devil May Cry system but with controllable cameras (like the reboot of Devil May Cry)
It has:
-Tons of unlockables
-GREAT replay value
-Story is NOT epic but does have tons of humor and some SWEET moments involving the little girl believed to be Bayonetta's daughter.
-Unlockable characters u can play as, and if they are too hard for u to unlock the hard way, u can spend a small fortune of the game's currency on cheat codes.
-The achievement/trophy system which the game has their own version of is not too difficult yet still feels rewarding.
-Great graphics.
-Tons of moves
-If u own a PS3/360 (with 360 being the superior version from a technical view) GET IT! Plus it's very cheap now, even in NEW condition.
I'm certain I'll play the first game if I can regardless. It was apparently an incredible game, like one of the most universally beloved games of the past few years maybe.
@Sonicfan11589 Last I checked, Bayonetta 1 was either in Sega's and/or Nintendo's hands. It'll likely come to Wii U eventually, so long as Bayonetta 2 does well. So buy it, people.
It's certainly the game I'm most looking forward to and it played a large part in my decision to buy a Wii U. I'm wondering if one of the "upcoming announcements" from Sega could be a port of the first one.

I played a bit of the first one on my 360. That game was pretty tough (in a good way). I would LOVE to play the whole thing on the Wii U, but this is one situation where I would say forget about the gamepad and let me just use the pro controller. That thing is gonna be destroyed by the time I beat this game lol

I guess this is a preference issue. I've seen people say the same thing about NG3: Razor's Edge, which I played through on the gamepad without any problems at all. I don't know whether it's just because I grew up with a Game Gear or for some other reason but I find the Gamepad very comfortable to hold. The Pro controller I haven't held in my hands yet but I'm sceptical of how I'll get along with it due to its physical similarity in form with the Xbox360 controller. I know I find them very uncomfortable.

Honestly I'm just a Nintendo wii and wii u owner so I'll wait till it comes out on wii u. Either way I'm excited to get either installment and wonderful 101 which is really my type of game... At I hope wonderful 101 is as innovative as it looks.
I picked up Bayonetta for 360 yesterday and I haven't been able to put it down! A couple chapters to go and then I'll have nothing left to do but eagerly wait for Bayonetta 2.
