Hey guys. Could anyone recommend to me some Wii era third party games that would be good to play on the WiiU?? I've played most first party and the RPGs everyone seems to mention but didn't get to into the third party stuff last gen. I've just played Broken Sword and loved that and De Blob which was also good. I love adventure games and mysteries and a goof story if that helps.
Okami is a must play for anyone who even vaguely enjoys Zelda.
Monster Hunter Tri was a great wii ARPG (get 3 Ultimate on Wii U) that takes a bit of effort to learn, but it became an absolute drug for me after a few hours.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade was a beautiful and fun 2D action brawler, thought the definitive version is on PS Vita apparently.
I enjoyed Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers (revenge of the titanic title). The gameplay and story were both decent, but I really loved the connected world and different minigames and unique things you could mess about with with telekinesis.
Endless Ocean 1 & 2 were fun for exploring the ocean and looking at various sea creatures, they're hardly action packed, though, so keep that in mind.
Wii Ski and Wii Ski & Snowboard were fun, silly skiing games that let you explore a large open world mountain, two mountains in the latter title.
It is first party, but there's a chance you might not have played Super Paper Mario, and that's a chance we can't allow. A 'top 10 games of all time' title, that one is.

I couldn't agree with you more on Super Paper Mario that came was incredible still don't understand the hate it gets. Endless Ocean I have played that is a good example of what I'd love to find yeah its a bit slow but it always felt like there was so much to discover and every time you found a new type of fish you'd get a nice warm feeling and I won't ruin the story but it was actually really well written and presented.
Crystal chronicles is also pretty good but I couldn'tget into the battle system like iI did the with the GameCube CC. I have played some third parry titles but I guess they were some of the best will also look into Tony hawk
