Topic: TG-16 Irem games are back in NA

R-Type, Vigilante, Legend of Hero Tonma and Ninja Spirit are back. R-Type is 800 Nintendo Points and is under Hudson Soft as publisher.

Too bad I already bought those games...

Amazing news! I never got a chance to get R-type or Ninja Spirit before they got taken off the virtual console. Do you know if Super R-Type and R-Type 3 are back on the virtual console too?

Awesome! Too bad the Master System R-Type isn't back (or is it?) since I already bought all the others.

how about the snes r-type games?

I´m in the shop in this momento and the games are like this:

IREM SOFT:

• Legend of Hero Tonma
• Ninja Spirit
• Vigilante

HUDSON SOFT:

• R-Type

There are no sign of Super R-Type, R-Type III or R-Type master system. I search very well all the Wii shop. Maybe later could appear.

If you go to Nintendo's official site and search for R-Type, the SNES one and R-Type III also show up (not the Master System one, unfortunately). Maybe they forgot to remove them from the page, but they're usually pretty effecient with that.

And yes, we need DK trilogy back =(

There is no version of R-Type worth bothering with other than the Arcade one. (Especially as it is so cheap by Dot-emu and supports physical controls).
