@Heavy_Barrel yeah im kinda reverse of that, i started buying more carts like a madman once i seen how the VC service was going. i love the service, but i started seeing that most of the games i like probably wont see the light of day on VC, i love rare and obscure games so when one pops up on VC i get it rather i have it already or not. if yer serious about it (if you dont already) id suggest getting an nes, snes and sega genesis system.
Well over the past year or 2 I re-purchased a Sega Genesis and some of my favorite games not on the VC. I recently had my NES repaired with a new 72 pin set and it works as good as new. I love playing it again. I 'm considering getting a N64 to play some games not on the VC. In short, I am working on having a balance of keeping old game cartridges and my downloaded titles. Still I hate to see games removed from the service
Factor 5 is no more, but their games are still on the VC (probably better grab those games too, just in case).
I believe Hudson (who still technically exists, even if Konami dissolves their name) bought the VC publishing rights to Super Turrican (haven't downloaded Super Turrican, but the image on Nintendo's site shows Hudson even hacked their name onto the title screen), and I think the only other game is Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures, which is Lucas' property.
Nooooooo I decided to opt for R -Type 3 after viewing some YouTube videos only to find it doesn't work with component cables! Argh! I either now have to buy some more standard cables or buy another R-Type game ... I can't bloody afford this right now. I wish you could get refunds on digital content.

Uh, what in the blue hell are you talking about? I've been playing it just fine via component cables.
Nope - tried again, goes out of range like it does with my Castlevania and Gunstar Heroes. I notice you are both overseas - might be a PAL thing. Anyone else having this problem with R-Type 3 in this region?
Its April 1st and all of the Irem games are gone off the Wii Shop in the US. Well all except one. R-type III is still available for those who want to grab it while you can.
Its still on the Wii Shop and listed under the publisher Hamster who handles the Jaleco releases. All of the other Irem games are gone except for this one, but I don't know for how long.
R-Type Delta is the best game in the series! Who is with me!?
Wii U online games:
Injustice Gods Among Us, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge, Assassin's Creed III, Tekken Tag Team Tournament 2 Wii U Edition and Trine 2: Directors Cut
3DS Online games:
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Tell me if you want to play :)

I picked up all the Irem games about a week ago. I even got Spelunker just in case that game would be removed too, but I think it is still available being published through Tozai Games.
Another game announced to be deleted was Wiiware´s Military Madness but in America continet is still available.
And another game is out of the service. Tetris Party Live from DSiware. Could the Wiiware version survive? And it is lost too Penguin & Friends from Wiiware.
Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.
After this many games removed from the service, I think the next few weeks will be very telling for the remainder of the Wii Shop Channel. If NoA makes an effort to build the library back up, in light of all these removals, it'll show that they still care about the VC even with Wii U coming soon. Should we not see any VC games soon to make up for these losses, that'll tell me NoA has pretty much given up on VC until Wii U's release.
Let's attack aggressively, kupo! :D
