The greatest buy I have ever found, one day, I went to a used game store, looked at the NES games, I saw Ducktales 2 (a very rare and expensive NES game, it goes up to about 50 or 60 dollars on eBay), and it was for 5 dollars, I gasped in excitement (seriously, I couldn't believe it!), and of course, I got it! The game was in very good condition too. There are many more great buys that I found, but this one just takes the cake.

wasnt in a store but i was ripping my room up cause me and my family were moving and i found my copy of Super Mario RPG and then my cousin found her Super and gave me it with 3 controlers but i had the wrong power cord so i have Super Mario RPG 3 controlers and no powercord
I was pretty excited when I got a pearl blue Gameboy Advance SP, Super Mario Advance 1-4, Gameboy Color Super Mario Bros Deluxe, and Super Mario Land 2 all for $80 bucks on eBay. My second best was my Top Loading NES, moded with RCA outputs, 10 games (Mario/Duck Hunt, Tetris, Ice Hockey were the only good games), 2 controllers, a grey zapper, and all the required cords for $130 on eBay as well.
I find great deals on used Retro Gaming all the time at my local Flea Market. Its flippin massive. Sometimes people dont know exaclty what they have and just sell and man can you get a nice hook up.

A few years ago, my mom was garage saling, and she called me up and asked if I was interested in an N64. I told here enthusiastically to get it. We got the N64, several games, a few baskets, and some manuals (among other things) for $20. The N64 even had the expansion pak, rumble pak, and memory pak. It came with two controllers, but one was glittery, transparent pink. I've since sold Road Rash 64 (sucked), Majora's Mask (too hard; also sold player's guide), and Milo's Astro Lanes (pointless). Shortly after I got it, a strange coincidence occurred. GameStop was emptying out a surplus of Madden 64 cartridges. I picked one up. A local Hollywood Video was going out of business, and had Triple Play 2000 and NBA Jam up for sale. I picked them up.
For the record, the system also came with:
Star Wars Episode I: Racer Diddy Kong Racing Super Mario 64 Donkey Kong 64
I bought Mischief Makers for 25 cents at a Salvation Army (who almost never have anything video game related) and Pokemon Snap for 10 cents at a garage sale.
Garage Sale: Got a 64 with Banjo-Kazooie, Zelda: MM, Mario 64, DK64, DK racing, That star wars racing game, Goldeneye 007, and mischief makers. $5. All I had to buy after was a power cord, and a controller.
TMNT: Tournament Fighters (sold) Sonic 2 Sonic the Hedgehog Muhammad Ali Boxing NFL Quarterback Club '96 NBA Action '94 Blaster Master 2 (sold) Quackshot
I eventually bought Castle of Illusion
