Topic: Online Retro Game Purchasing Question.

Ok I apologize if theres a thread already started for this if there is no worries if it gets locked and a mod points me in the right direction.

Anyway I just purchase a Nintendo 64 along with Super Mario 64 and Killer Instinct Gold. The place that I bought it from didnt have extra controllers for now plus there are a few games that I am looking for as well. I am kinda weary of buying something offline from some one I dont know and I have heard the Ebay horror storys. So I was wondering are there any particular buyers that you guys know of have a good rep that I can buy some things from or maybe a site? I really dont carry about shipping prices as long as they are reasonable and I live in California so anywhere in the US is fine.

I refuse to buy from anyone who doesn't have at least a 99.5% positive rating, and it's worked so far.

JJGames has a huge selection of used N64 games with a few controllers for sale. I never bought anything from them but the online reviews from shoppers is positive.

The website I buy rare games from is GameQuestDirect. Everything they sell is brand new factory sealed and customer service is top notch.

pretty much this. just read through their reviews, check out the neutral and negative ones, and see if what they're complaining about is all things you can live with or things the seller has no control over, like scuffs on used merchandise or product being held up by the mail system.

The only place that sells retro stuff where I live gouges people big time. 25 bucks for a used controller in working condition, 10 bucks for a broken one....I'm not kidding. When I say broken, I mean missing buttons, snapped off joysticks, etc. I go to Ebay for my retro needs.

Wow nice place there Stuffy. I looked around on there site for awhile and I am thinking of giving them a call here when I get some extra money and see if I can get a SNES from them. Pretty good prices too.
