Mario Paint- I always rented this at a local video store, but somehow never got it. I recently acquired it, and it's just as fun as I remembered. The game is a whole lot of fun, both the paint program and the composer. Wish I had a coffee table, though.

Rescue Rangers- another game I rented often, but somehow never got. I was fortunate to find it at a used video game store. It's still as fun as it was back then. I've gotten all the way to the third boss, I think (the level with the faucets).

Street Fighter II- an absolute classic, but I somehow never had a copy until I got the Wii.

Same here with Mario Paint i never had a chance to tried it nor did i ever saw it in Game Stores as for other games mostly Console Games i ever wanted couldn't get is slowly becoming less concern since Virtual Console has them.

Killer Instinct i keep hearing how great the fighting game sadly do that Rare have been bought by Microsoft now, i doubt i'll ever tried the SNES Original

The Game Watch Gallery Series, several Wario Land Games and Donkey Kong Land series and Shantae since i bought a game boy late in it's era i missed out on several great game boy games and after Game Boy Advance came out i ignore it ever since till the whole Retro Revival of Wii Virtual Console.

I've been tempted to get Game & Watch Gallery 4 for quite awhile now, as it has the most games of the series compilations.

Super Mario World

I played and beat SMW many, many times with one of my friends, at his house.
But I never had it for my own SNES for some reason.
Same with Super Mario Kart and NBA Jam, actually.

Me too with Mario Paint. Never got it as a gift, and then I never thought about getting it later on when I actually could buy it myself.

Another one is Vectorman for the Genesis. Played it a few times rented, or at a buddy's house. Loved it. But never got it. Now it's on the Virtual Console but for whatever reason i've never gotten it there either.

I'm on the same boat with you on SMW and NBA Jam, but then I got the "Super Mario All Stars" much later that had SMW.

Ultimate Parodius, Ranma ½: Everything Goes Martial Arts, both for Super Famicom. Got teased about them in swedish Nintendo mag Super Power. I own them both now, and especially Ultimate Parodius is great.

So many - and practically everything on the Amiga that I only ever saw at a friend's house. There's a lot of Mega CD games I used to want but never got (usually due to being unable to find them in shops back then).

I think the Amiga thing is funny because I've since emulated all the ones I can remember and find them as dull as hell now. I've also tracked down a lot that I missed now via ebay or through compilations/VC releases. It's so much easier to get hold of anything these days.

I remember flipping through the pages of a magazine when I encountered pics of the new Atari Jaguar along with screenshots for Alien Vs. Predator. I'd still like to get my hands on a Jaguar if only to play Alien Vs. Predator.

For some reason, I never picked up Super Metroid. Everyone hails it as this wonderful, awesome game, and I haven't played a single second of it. Perhaps some day...

I finally bought it on VC and played through it for the first time a mere 5 months ago or so.
And it was a wonderful, awesome game.

Spyro: Year of the Dragon , Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, Dragon Warrior 1 & 2, and Killer 7 are all that I can think of right now. Before there was also Majora's Mask, Mega Man 64, Hotel Dusk, Super Mario Sunshine, Starfox Adventures, and I guess F-Zero X and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, along with others that I can't remember off-hand.

All great Genesis games, especially the Sonic games. I asked for a Genesis for years, never got it ; by the time I got the money to get a console, I got an N64 instead.
