Topic: Games you always wanted as a kid, but somehow never got

SNES RPGs. I got interested late in the consoles life, so the only games that were still available new were FF6, CT and Lufia II. And there was no way my parents would spend $70+ on a single game.
So I had to live with renting. I alone practically funded my rental store's copy of FF4.
Just missed getting Mana new, so I ended up getting a new Evermore instead.

Burning Rangers for the Saturn. And I never got that Saturn either. Oh well no biggie I had a good childhood.

Secret of Mana - played it at a friends a lot, but never got to finish it. When it came to VC, I played it for ages.
Chrono Trigger - all the magazines raved about this game when I was younger, but it wasn't released in Aus. But I think we rented a US SNES from a video shop, and we played until we got to the prehistoric times.

I can't think of any more at the moment, but they will probably be all SNES games that I missed out on.

Oh yeah, I always wanted it because of the cool art direction, but I passed on it because it was a turn-based RPG. Now it's a tad too expensive for my tastes, so I guess I missed out.

Also, I always wanted Blinx. It was one of the few Xbox originals that looked interesting at the time, but since I never got the original Xbox, I had to pass it up.

Oh, and I think I wanted iNinja at one point when I played a bit of it in a kiosk at a rental place, but the reviews put me off it. Might pick it up anyways, since it seems pretty cheap.

Drill Dozer - forgot about it. Might buy it off a friend some time.

Metal Arms: Glitch in The System - It looked cool from all the adds, and once I played Ratchet & Clank, a wacky Third-person shooter with cool guns sounded like just my thing. My friend got the Xbox version and said it was really good, so I'll definitely make sure I pick it up someday.

I still pickup games that I never got around to snagging. If I think of a game, I'll head to Amazon and check the prices.

Snowboard Kids 2 was one that I rented but never bought, until Christmas this year.
Earthworm Jim 1-2 Rented a lot. Got them on the VC.
Pilotwings Never played it before. Got it on the VC and love it.

Stunt Race FX I rented it a lot, but never bought it.
Pilotwings 64 Never played it, but I have always wanted to.
Jet Force Gemini Never played it, but I have always wanted to.
