most anticipated this year? not easy, but..... it would have to be either Zelda or Pokemon
2013: Pokemon XY, Wind Waker HD, A Link Between Worlds, Sonic Lost World, Tearaway, Super Mario 3D Land, Gran Turismo 6, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Wii Sports Club.
2014: Dark Souls II, Ultra Street Fighter 4, Blazblue, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Metal Gear Solid 5 (Hopefully 2014), Titanfall, Bayonetta 2, Yoshi's New Island, Yarn Yoshi, X, and most important of all, FExSMT
Ys: Memories of Celceta. Could be the next Vita Killer App, at least in my book.
This. Granted, this series hasn't made a misstep since 1995 (unless you count the PS2 version of Ys 3 as a misstep, which is sorta accurate), but with multiplayer this one's gonna be out of control great.
Is the MP online, though, or Ad-hoc only? Not that I mind either way, I'm thinking of getting my bro a Vita TV if that ever makes it over here.
EDIT: Wait, I can't find anything saying it has MP...
My most anticipated game this year is by far Pokemon X. Man. I cannot wait. I am incredibly excited for this, I can't even begin to express my level of excitement. The last time I was this excited for an upcoming game was... Probably Injustice: Gods Among Us.
In second, I'll go with Batman: Arkham Origins. Looks fantastic, very excited to experience it.
Third would go to Super Mario 3D World. I'm still not happy that the levels will be linear and that Nintendo is focusing on multiplayer (my brother accidentally screws me over all the time when playing New Super Mario Bros together, and he really isn't very good at Mario games, at least compared to me) but, hey, 3D Mario is 3D Mario, I guess.
I'm also pumped for Link Between Worlds, Wind Waker HD, Scribblenauts Unmasked (although I won't be getting it day one, frankly don't have the money, I'd rather save it for Wind Waker which comes out the next week), and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. All looking very promising.
My most anticipated games of the year was Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Even though I didn't really care about it that much until I played Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones.
