Monday Night Combat's official release has been delayed by one week, so you can still buy it for 10% off and have immediate access to the beta.

So I just bought Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and so far it has been a great game. I have only played the multiplayer and obviously I suck in it . I'll try the single player later.

I really wish I hadn`t let my friend borrow it as I really want to play it. It has been so long! I haven`t even had a chance to play on the newest maps!

I found this thread with a nice compilation of the user created Steam skins
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1161035

I decided to go with the Evangelion one because it looked cool. The Miku Miku one looks pretty good too, but not really my thing... Also, the only red one was the Evangelion one, so that probably influenced my decision.

@Ravage Wow, that definitely shows how much people are trying to make good skins. Half of them looked exactly like the normal Steam, only with more windows.

V8 Ninja is right. A lot of the more varied ones are very unprofessional. I don't think I'd use any of them except the "less wasted space" one.

This reminds me of the Winamp skin craze in the early 00s lol.

Yes, I completely agree with that, but I want something red

What version are they currently on? Are they still in beta? I remember playing Goldeney once upon a time.

They just got out of Beta, with version 4.1

I second this notion.

Ah thanks, I was going to wait until they got out of Beta before i redownloaded it. No reason really...
Maybe once I actually get around to playing Nightmare House 2, I will download it.

As it turns out, this game is coming to Steam soon (on Wednesday according to its Steam page), and I tried the demo from the home site. This seems like a pretty good game! Hope it releases with a lower price than the $15 it normally goes for.

Wow, that game looks great. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll wait for some reviews before buying because shooter-platformers tend to be hit and miss these days. (Ah, for the glory days of 16-bit games!) Looks like it has a lot of potential though.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is 50% off for the midweek madness sale. I like it, totally worth $5 if your computer can run it.

Xkhaoz

anyone know a good $10 game that isn't very demanding specs wise?

Now, what for $5?

Wait, are you looking for a $10 or a $5?

$5, since VVVVVV is $5, and if I can spend $10, and I spend $5, then I'll have $5.

Ah, I did not know if you were subtracting VVVVVVV from that.

@Ravage I doubt I could run it. I think I might go with HL2: Deathmatch, but i'll still take recommendations.
