Can you run some other Source games? It is not as hard as TF2, but maybe a bit tougher than CS:S and HL2.

@Ravage I can run Lost Coast, and according to CYRI, HL2. And according to irk, Portal.

@irken I saw you got A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda. How is it?

It's quite nice actually! It runs really well, and plays like an old school sidescrolling shooter. The visuals are REALLY polished too, this game is quite pretty! The story is ok, no voiceovers, just text conversations. There are also 2 steam-exclusive suits, but they don't seem to change the gameplay any way. I've been playing with the mouse and keyboard fine, but this was designed to use a 360 controller, which would allow easier gun aiming via the right joystick. Using a mouse is fine though, just have to point the reticule.

For what I paid ($8) vs the $15 it usually goes for, I think it was a fair deal. There's possibly going to be more episodes though, so expect some sequels. This game has 5 levels, and there are expected to be 4 episodes going to release. It seems like it can be a bit short, but it's fair.

Here's a decent review of it for more details: here

I'd say TFC. Half Life 2 Deathmatch wasn't very fun imo.

Xkhaoz

@irk MMm, yeah. I was leaning more towards TFC.

This, although, make sure to check the TFC forums to make sure there are still players. I am kind of interested in the game actually, might be pretty fun.

@Ravage Seems alive enough to me, and there are a few people on NL who have it. Maybe we could have Saturday night matches or something.

You have to make sure though when you double jump over spikes your not too high or too low. Wait till you get to 3.

Stupid server troubles with TFC. Anyone know a fix?

I found this on the forums
Click on the Filters button, then change the server region to anything else at least once. That fixed the problem for me.

It should show solve the issue.

This should also help you in finding servers that are not entirely bots.
