"Master. The results of your request have finished computing. There is a 90% probability these images from the world wide database known as Google match the requested information, I recommend to expand the images to inspect each one of them closely by moving your finger to it and tapping it twice or using two fingers and making an inverse pinching motion in the screen. Should any of the images be of a nature unrelated to the relevant query, I recommend ignoring the image. Should the problem persist, conducting the search again with different wording is recommended. Please, tap the Microphone icon when you are ready to give me a new instruction."
Nintendo is set up to profit majorly from its manufacturing in China. So anything that boosts the product that comes out of the doors at facilities like Foxxcon they should do. Always ask yourself that before telling Nintendo where to get its money. Or, go see if you can restructure Nintendo to profit majorly from software development.
I wish they would release apps for NES, Game Boy Color, SNES and GBA. games would be sold as IAPs. Nintendo could even release an SNES-style gamepad which would work with the apps natively and be used to navigate menus. only reason I feel they want to avoid iOS is the 30% take Apple gets. but I mean at this point it's their choice on whether they want to monetize it or continue to make people choose between going without and doing it anyway by other means.
I'm fine with Nintendo porting previous games onto mobile devices, but not designing products from the ground up for them. Meteos from the DS library I personally think would provide them with a huge boost. I really don't see this hurting them.
I think the only people who would really support this are people who are already using emulators and ROMs to play old Nintendo games for free anyway, soooo... what's the point?
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
No Nintendo games should be playable on systems different than Nintendo systems.
If they made companion apps for the games you have that would give you more points for unlocking stuff or handled your step count and streetpass when you don't have your 3DS with you then I'm all for it. Everything else is just taking money away from Nintendo.
I could see this working with Animal Crossing where you could manage your items (selling them, buying new stuff) on the go, and perhaps even Smash Bros could benefit from it (connecting your account to minigame where you get throphies), but all the core gameplay should stay on consoles.
Oh and while we're at it, eShop has to be available online.
Not porting, but designing and releasing some apps wouldn't hurt them.
exactly....make something that is more of a marketing play. get kids using apps with nintendo characters- and Angry Birds or a Mario Runner type deal. And- I don't think Doctor Luigi would be too sacred to put on Android or Apple.
