gamesradar.com put up this great article. Now that E3 and GDC is over and many reviewers have gotten there hands on the games and hardware finally we can now get some real info on the two. They were kind enough to put the two against eachother and give insight to both and its a great read.

Kinect is a joke and Move is a Wii remote- clone. If i had to choose, i'd put my money on the Move.

Kinect is expensive, Move is weird and an obviously slapped-together clone. If I had to make a choice, I'd choose death. The article isn't anything I haven't heard before, either. As of right now, Kinect works, Move doesn't. But neither are anywhere near release yet, and none of them have but one game worth playing outside of ports and tech demoes.

The Wii beat them to it, but as far as I seen what they can do.
The Wii maybe far off.
But if Nintendo are planning a "Wii2", they better bring something new to the table

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Tech wise the Kinect and Move won, however they still need to compete with the Wii, which has already won the casual audience. Move may be successful, but the Kinect may have trouble

Those two statements are contradictory, as the article states that Move works and Kinect doesn't.

My money was definitely on Move from the start, as I can actually imagine it leading to...you know...proper games, rather than on-rails "experiences" wherein I have to stand in my living room throwing my limbs around hoping for something to register. It'll depend upon the quality of the games, of course, but I can actually see Move leading to that quality (at least potentially). I can't imagine Kinect ever being necessary to play anything better than the world's most technologically advanced minigame.

And does anyone really want to play that anyway?

Does anyone want to sum up why Kinect isn't looking good? I don't know.

Touche.
And I suppose with the lack of buttons, the capabilities of the games you could actually make are stunted.

@Mickey.... dude seriously. Where the heck are you at? Im not being fanboy, but there isnt anybody saying negative stuff about MOVE. The main report we are hearing is just what the article says. "MOVE is what the Wii said it was going to be and wasn't!"

I think that Kinect and Move are both failures. but if I had to choose, i would pick move. I couldn't ever see myself flinging my arms around looking like a idiot.

Kinect actually had a recent conference showing around Japan and for some of it,it wouldn't actually work. Not as in turn on but it wouldn't detect the body movements and motions.
Look up on google if you don't believe me.

MOVE has its own issues too with that fighting game lights out or something.
Heard many people saying it was not detecting the movements.

All in all both are flawed but I am sure they'll be fun to play with once they come out.
Unlike the Wii where the early ad's made it look like 1:1 which it wasn't of course.
Then we have Motion+ which has not been getting much games supporting it but lets hope Nintendo change that with Skyway Sword.

Motion controls won't be perfect until maybe next gen or the one after.
The technology maybe there but it's probably too expensive to sell.
