So C-wars is a turned based pixel art stragety game that was backed last year and got a ton of play from a to of websites like Nintendolife. Despite the fact that the Xbox One wasn't one of the actual stretch goals or in Kickstarter its now the lead platform.

The game also has a new look.

The actual exclusivity is only for china but because of this the newly announced Xbox One version is going to be the first version out world wide.

Hi @Schadows
This is Loup. Thanks for asking.
1- The release is TBA, around end of the year. We need to pass certain cert, XBox One and/or Steam.
1.1- The releasing order = XB1, PC+Android, PSV etc [to be completed].
2- I didn't have time to go thru the publishing regulation for the PSV, but I do think it's possible, we will find a way for the codes, it's not a big issue. Don't worry.
Thanks!!! The beta will be announced VERY SOON [doing english version proofreading now].

So it sounds like the fact that they're getting so much in the ID@Xbox program and the chance to have their first game release in their home country on the console thats getting the big push.

So any of you guys back it.

Well, that kind of sucks for all the nice folks that backed it for other platforms, but it's good that it will be on Xbox One in China. It just gives more to show that Kickstarter campaigns do not always mean exactly what they say. I was wondering what happened to this game.

This would be one reason why I don't back Kickstarters there is no loyalty or quality assurance and really you don't know what the end result could be.

This is why I'm VERY selective about the projects I back. This is really disappointing news. I doubt I'll be supporting this game, no matter what the reviews are like.

I have never back any kickstarter projects and I never will. I didn't even back Inafune's Mighty no.9. Why? Because those so called "Projects" have no legal obligation to hold their words. They can go yolo and screw it up and say "Sowy gais, too bad" and all the funding money goes to the drain. There are so many projects will half hundreds of thousands of dollars funded, and went under for idiotic reasons.

I'm not trying to make a jab at people who funds these projects, I'm really not. It is you guys who made Shovel Knight possible and I seriously thank you guys for it. But for me, it's just to risky to put my money on the line. I might sound selfish, but I'll let you brave warriors take the beating while I sit back and wait for the fruits from your endeavours.

Actually there is a legal obligation.

@WaLzgi I might have gotten my facts wrong then. Then how are some projects just disappear out of thin air because the money was spent on somewhere else and the developers aren't getting into trouble because of it? If there is a legal obligation won't they be held responsible for a fraud? What about projects that divert from their original stretch goals? Won't those be considered fraud as well?

The enforcement of the legal obligations doesn't come from Kickstarter, it comes from the backers in hoe form of a class action lawsuit.

Yet another reason to avoid backing games.

@Kodeen Oh, like the dude who's suing Sony for KZ not being 1080p? One noob question, why hasn't anyone sue them then? (I'm fairy foreign to this whole kickstarter thing)

The only project I "kickstarted" was MIghty No. 9 and I'm fairly confident I will get my rewards and a decent game but that will be my last time I do this. Unless, Miyamoto kickstarts something then I will give him my bank account number.
