Most of my favorite games when I was a kid had some sort of rodent saving the day. Pikachu, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mappy (who's my favorite), Hare (from Monster Rancher), Jazz the Jack Rabbit, and those Raving Rabbid things on Wii just to name a few.

There are some video games that do NOT have rodents. Mario,Donkey Kong,Earthworm Jim,and others are examples.

I know but Mario was never as popular as Pikachu and even Sonic tied in popularity with Mario. Besides you avatar has Sonic on it.

Mario has stayed at his constant popularity rank since day one. Overall he IS more popular than Pikachu cuz he came out first. And in the early nineties Sonic WAS tied with Mario in popularity. I'm just saying that in 1999-2000 Pokemon was the most popular game nintendo had made at that time.

Also, while we're just pulling unprovable comparisons out of thin air, I am more popular than Pikachu, Sonic, and Mario combined.

And by that I don't mean their popularity ratings combined, but if we combined them into some horrid chimera, I would be more popular than them. Possibly.

Haha!!! Anyways Mario is pretty cool. When I was 4 and the cartoon was out on TV I told everyone at school I was gonna marry Mario. Of course I also told everyone I was gonna marry Micheal Jorden and that never happened. Heheh! Anyway a chimera of Mario Sonic and Pikachu might be called Pikamaric, or Markanic (which ever you prefer).
