I'd be in, but I no longer care for EV training, so I don't wanna be tossed in with a bunch of people who do use it.

@Sony_70 You said the tournament would take place on november 12th, by then poke transfer won't even be available yet.

Well we all will have to make new teams anyway. I shall have killer aborable fairies~

Alright nevermind what I just said, I got caught up on it in the X/Y thread. So, count me in! I'll probably do bad but it sounds fun.

Didn't they include an Item that makes EV Training easier in X/Y?

Okay. I probably won't use it, though - I don't even really know nor care what EV Training is, it just sounds like more grinding...

It's pretty much just a time consuming method of training used for tournaments, I don't wanna be involved in it again even if it is easier.

First tournament is XY guys only and after that poketransfer will be fair game.

EV training is not as hard as you think it is. A matter of fact, PokeB/W2 made it easier with Join Avenue's Gym.
EV trains the pokemon for you, and if you made a mistake, take to the Salon and it will lower a stats you don't want, to zero.
And the Café also works like the Gym, you can level your pokemon 8-20 levels a day, with no grinding needed. Just lots of money.

I'll join. I'm doing an XY tournament in school too, so it seems like it'll be fun.

Besides, it's the IV freaks you should be worried about and I don't think any of us will be doing that for this. It will be more of a friendly league thing.

... Meh, I'll consider it. I get along just fine through the games without it though, which was the primary reason I stopped doing it.

It is actually quite impossible and unnecessary to ev train during the adventure... The only reason to do it is for harder battling facilities and serious matches with other people.

Yea, you can't really EV train while on the adventure, unless you take wild guesses, and say the pokemon your fighting looks big and bulky, it might give off Att or Def EV.
Or look online for what EVs the pokemon your fighting, but I won't do that because of spoilers, so I'm going dutch.

I save the EV training stuff for after the main adventure. Like @Morphtorok said, there's no need to EV train during the adventure as the extra values would not make too much of a difference.

EV training during the adventure sounds terrible. Doing it then makes it sounds like you'd have to stop every other minute of a battle to see a foe Pokemon's EV yield... and at that rate, there's a good chance you wouldn't even finish for an eternity >_____<
I'll probably join as long as I find the time for it; I'm not writing anything in stone, yet. And I'm going to guess rules on what Pokemon can be used will be determined later (Is that the season style?)~
