Nintendo will be presenting another "Nindie Showcase" next Tuesday! Anyone else excited? What games are you hoping for?
Nine times out of ten I prefer indie games to triple-AAA titles, so I'm thrilled that Nintendo continues to foster incredibly strong indie support. The only games I'm specifically hoping for are 1) release date for Hollow Knight and 2) more Game Make games like Hyper Light Drifter and Hotline Miami.

I'm very excited to see which Indie gems are coming to Switch.
Hyper Light Drifter is high on my wish list as well, as are CrossCode and Tom Happ's second game. I highly doubt we'll get to see Tom's new baby though. He's being very secretive about it.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Damn dude, you're annoying.
I've only been on this site for a couple of days now and I've already grown sick of your comments.
Why do you feel such need to comment on everything you don't like? Why can't you be positive once in a while? Why can't you be happy for those that do enjoy content such as indie games? Not everything in this world has to cater to your specific needs, you know?
I'm not excited. I'm interested in some of those games (I already bought some very good indie games and I will buy for sure Cursed Castilla - and probably a few others too - even if Cursed Castilla is too hard for me) but often indie games are just disappointing or completely uninteresting for me and Nintendo already gave them a lot of room on the Switch... a little too much if you ask me. There are some games that are as good as the big companies ones and sometimes (rarely) even better, but at this point often this is only an excuse to fill the eShop with games that are cheaper than the big companies ones and not only in their price but in their contents too.
I'm not complaining about a lack of good games on the eShop because the eShop actually does not lack in good games, but many releases are absolutely boring and unremarkable and giving this kind of games so much room and so much visibility is not a good thing imho.
Also, I'm not complaining about the lack of good games because as I said this is absolutely not the case, but I DO complain about the lack of good retrogames and honestly I'm not very happy - not happy at all - to see all those indie games when there is absolutely nothing from SNes, Mega Drive and Game Boy on offer.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Three things:
1). All indie games are, by definition, third party games, because Nintendo doesn't own any of these indie developers.
2). Why does it matter to you if a game is "new" or not? You've stated before that you're a Nintendo only gamer, so by that logic you should be glad that these games are finally coming to your system of choice.
3). Try judging games by their quality, not the size of their publisher. Which game is better--another soulless triple-AAA open world title, or something like Celeste, Toki Tori, or Shantae, games made with love and passion by their developers?

I'm kind of excited. The problem I have is there are so many good indies from year 1 that I still haven't played. I won't have time to play anything new.

Hear hear! My backlog is huge as it is!
I'm still excited, though.
