I'm hearing many people that Nintendo is going out of business. I'm REALLY worried and I don't want to face the facts. If anyone knows PLEASE, post anything if this is true or not. I don't want the games to go away, don't you?

You obviously heard this from a bunch of trolls who don't know a thing about Nintendo. Don't sweat it, they're not going anywhere. :3

What cave have you been sleeping in the past six years???

Nintendo was definitely hurting in 2004, but DS and later Wii caused the company to make such a rebound effect that Microsoft, Sony, and their bloated hardware become envious with jealousy.

They're in excellent shape... much better than Sony and MS' entertainment divisions and possibly overall.

Even last generation with the Gamecube they made more money than Sony and MS' entertainment divisions.

This might be a good thing to put in the slowpoke thread.
No offense. And no, they're not even close to going out of business

EDIT: Oh man, Faildude beat me to it.

As far as I'm concerned, as long as Miyamoto is still breathing Nintendo will never die.

Judge games by what they have and not what they could have had

I've been hearing this in a couple of interviews so the question must be still valid. To journalists anyway. Nintendo use to fall behind by being "different" than everyone else. For awhile that was a bad thing (N64 carts, no GC online etc.) Now that they started innovating with both software AND hardware, I don't see Nintendo going anywhere any time soon, especially with the 3DS coming. I still anxiously anticipate their next home console announcement. I'm sure, like the Wii and DS before it, it will be a total mind blow.

Abandon hope all ye who enter here.
