• Mario Maker details

• Rodea the Sky Soldier localization announcement
• Collectible Badge Center for the Nintendo 3DS eShop outside of Japan

Wonder when we'll see the new Direct. I'm guessing sometime near March 10th.

Anyways, my general predictions since this Direct isn't announced and we don't know what the focus is:

• Yoshi's Woolly World trailer and release date/month
• Splatoon release date
• Codename STEAM final trailer (if Direct is before game's release date)
• Hyrule Warriors DLC
• Mario Kart 8 DLC
• Smash Bros tournament/Miiverse stage/sharing update and Mewtwo DLC release date
• Xenoblade Chronicles 3D trailer
• Xenoblade Chronicles X trailer
• Mario Maker details
• Puzzle & Dragons Z/Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros Edition release date
• Wave 5 of Smash amiibo and Wave 2 of Super Mario amiibo announcement
• Some sort of surprise announcement

I will add something to that a cross platform pokemon game using amiibo for the pokemon
also 3ds/2ds/3ds xl amiibo adapter for this game because japan is still getting it this summer

That's mostly spot on what I think would be the case. A few alterations I'd make are:

• Hyrule Warriors DLC with the announcement saying that this is not the end of game support
• Mario Kart 8 DLC hints further towards an Animal Crossing Wii U game
• Rather than just Wave 5 of the Smash amiibo they reveal all the remaining Smash characters' amiibo and release dates

Additions:

• In-depth look at Mario Party 10 with confirmation that there's no way to turn off the car mechanic
• Club Nintendo replacement hints
• Splatoon free game promotion (like with MK8) for Club Nintendo's successor with larger selection of games for North America

I think predictions and desires are sometimes overlapped

They only really need to show off more of Splatoon, Xenoblade, and probably Code Name: STEAM (if it's up before that's out).

Not gonna overhype this direct,i cause i don't want to be disappointed again.I just want some new info about Splatoon that gets me excited for the game again.

I think a Splatoon release date is assured. If we're really lucky, we could get a general window of when Xenoblade X will release. If we're extremely lucky, we might hear about a new game announcement or hear about what's happened to SMTxFE

I agree. I think we will get a Direct during the first or second week of March before Codename Steam. We know most of the release dates already, but I have some guesses.

Yoshi: April
MK8 DLC: Early May
Puzzle and Dragons: Mid May
Splatoon: Late May
Smash DLC: Early June

I think that would be mentioned at E3 at the absolute earliest, if we're lucky.

@Bolt_Strike You have a very bitter view on life. You are aware that life is just one big insignificant cycle of the same old same old, and that no matter how you try to escape it, it will always catch up to you until the inevitable sweet release of death, right? Your life consists of the same structure with minor constants and variables that MIGHT change at points, but in the grand scheme of things all you do to survive is eat, sleep and repeat. You will never escape this cycle, and the very idea of that you frightens you.

Once in a while there's a direct two months in a row, though a two-month gap is always the safest bet.

It's March now, so I'm bumping the thread. When do you think we'll get a Direct: this week or next week?
