So I just got a Wii U, I have made a list of all the games I want to get (and have already) by system, but the thing is I want to play them in order of each series. I don't really know what order they go besides obviously the older system games being first, I just put them in alphabetically.

If my list is wrong, missing any games could you guys please help me correct them? Thanks in advance

NES

Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong 3
Donkey Kong Jr.
Mario & Yoshi
Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
The Legend of Zelda
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link

SNES

Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
Super Mario World
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

N64

Donkey Kong 64
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time

Wii

Donkey Kong Country Returns
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Wii U

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Mario Kart 8
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
New Super Luigi U
New Super Mario Bros. U
Star Fox Zero
Super Mario 3D World
The Legend of Zelda Wii U
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
Zelda: Hyrule Warriors

Just a note, I removed Paper Mario and the previous Mario Karts from my list (just my personal preference). So for example, could someone help me put together a list of the Mario games, Link games, Donkey Kong games etc in order to play, that also means remakes so I'd still like to play them in order (I'd just play a remake when the original was released if that makes sense).

Thank you so much in advance, I am a bit of a noob when it comes to this and really appreciate any help.

Mario Bros. is the first of the series, Mario & Yoshi comes before Super Mario World and after Super Mario Bros. 3. Soon you should be able to play New Super Mario Bros. that stays between Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy.
