My last Eclipse was an automatic, but this time I decided to go back to the stick. And so far the wrist is doing alright. A bit sore, but it seems to be getting better. I can take the brace off for two hours a day now, which helps a bit.
@Corbie: If the Eclipse is so reliable why on your third in such a short span of time, eh?
I've got an '02 reg Citroen Saxo Desire. It was the cheapest car I could buy brand new at the time that had a sunroof, which is a critical aspect of any automobile for me.
This is someone else's '03, but mine looks the same:
Cars are just a way of getting from point A to point B for me; pretty much the last thing in the world I'd want to spend money on, so I try to take the cheapest option possible. I'm currently driving a '91 Buick Century, but it only has 45k miles on it -- bizarre, yes, but it came from my great-grandmother who never really used it except for church and local visits. So, I got it for nothing, I have no monthly car payments at all, and it should last at least another 50k if I decide to keep using it; a perfect scenario for someone like myself, for, as I said, I can't stand spending a cent on an automobile if I don't have to.
I wish I still lived in Boston, where you can get by perfectly fine without a car. That's certainly my ideal world: more mass transit, less car ownership. It's such an abomination to efficiency when you go through a city like Atlanta and see hordes of single-rider vehicles clogging 10 lanes.

Pretty much my thinking. I do wish my car had more headroom though. Next one will probably not be new (don't see how I can really afford that) and will have more headroom -- but still a sunroof I hope. I really like the look of the Citroen C3 Picasso.
Mine's just a giant penis on wheels. It's not the most subtle, but it works for some girls.
at least you're being honest with yourself, dude

@Sean Aaron Wow that car is small. How many people can you squeeze into it? My wagon I can fit 8 people comfortably. Also I think Corbie is on his third Eclipse because he leases them. At least that is my guess.
@ Sean - I trade my car every 3 years. That's why I get the payment plan for 48 months instead of 60 or 72. I like getting a new car as often as possible. That SMELL!!!! Ummmmmmmmmm

Ah, well, I like owning the car and driving it until it dies. I've got 65000 miles and only drive it to the shops on week-ends so that hopefully won't be many many years.
I can fit five and the boot has a decent amount of space in it. My daughter has a car seat that takes up a lot of space so the person in the middle better be pretty skinny or friendly with the person next to them! I can split the back seat and take several full-sized suitcases, so it's pretty good, though it is at the cost of legroom in the back -- nobody's ever complained though!
Big pluses: Out the door cost was less than £6500 in 2002; I still get 40+mpg on the highway; 30+ in town.
Mines a '96 Dodge Ram 1500. It's nice, but I kinda wish I had a Subaru or a motorcycle instead. I kinda have a fetish for smaller sleek cars. Imo, the better the handling the better the car.
