Topic: What's your donut?

Glazed, but pretty much only when made by a chain around where I live called Daylight Donuts. Krispy Kreme's are okay. I feel like other glazed donuts are just slimy and gross.

I like Target's cake donuts, because they are super soft. I buy them and put my own frosting and sprinkles on them. Delicious!

Boston Cream is the only rational choice.

I think this thread needs people to start posting pictures of the next donut they eat.

this is the best place. everywhere else is for posers.

We have a Daylight Donuts near where I live. I haven't had their donuts often, but the ones I have had...yum!

My favorite donuts have got to be from a local IGA store; I've mostly had their yeast donuts, and the cinnamon twists and raspberry Bismarcks are to die for!

Also, Elephant Ears are indeed good, but I prefer Funnel Cake.

... I'm torturing myself for stepping into a thread about fried food when I've actively been trying to avoid it....

If we're talking Tim Hortons, I'm a sucker for vanilla dip with the sprinkles on it. Messy, but I enjoy it. Hardly go there anymore though. Quality sucks now.

If it's from a local bake shop, I always stick with good old glazed.

Boston or Bavarian Cream for me. I do like powdered filled with chocolate on occasion. Not a huge fan of doughnuts in general though.... they are like a rare treat instead. I'm done with the regular chains though. KK and DD can go somewhere else.

I love the cinnamon donuts in the hard to find, three flavor Hostess pack.

@Dizzy_Boy I actually like the more "boring" doughnuts. Plain/regular, chocolate glazed, cinnamon coated, and those 3 in doughnut hole form too. I have never really cared for the frosting covered or jelly filled types as they tend to be really messy and overly sweet.

I've always wanted to try maple logs with bacon...but I'm tryna lose weight lol

But honestly not had donuts in a few months closer to six, but I like regular glazed (right out of the fryer), strawberry glazed (I like anything strawberry flavored), chocolate old fashioned (reduced sugar, gotdam one bakery in Hawai'i I use to work for used to make them so sweet it ruined a perfect donut).
