Topic: What type of music do you listen to?

Personally I like most alternative and folk music. Lately I've been listening to a lot of indie music, a lot of it's pretty good. Also occasionally I don't mind metal but I'm definitely not a metal head.

I have no idea how to post youtube videos but I've had this whole album on repeat for ages:

I'm open to most art music written from the 18th to the (early) 20th century.

i listen to drum and bass, mostly either liquid or dark.
i will happily listen to metal, because i`ve had people i use to work with listen to it, so i don`t mind if it`s on.

Jpop and real video game music

Video game music, film scores, trance, techno, chill-out, pop (mostly from 80s, 90s, and early '00s), even a little rap and country.

Really like everything but some metal.

Indie-ternative. Yes, I just made that up, but I feel it's descriptive enough to include stuff like Animal Collective, Purity Ring, Sigur Rós and Mogwai while also excluding stuff like EDM, punk, and indie rappers. Actually, here is the list of my favorite albums released between 1996 and 2011, which should give you a good picture of my taste in music.

Not when there's tons of musical scores in many of my favorite video games, and when there's a ton of great female Jpop artists :F but with the Jpop I also like watching the actual music video with it, they are sooooooo cute :F

Anything that incorporates blues guitar is going to have a hard time not winning me over, but I like to think I'm pretty open to any type of musical expression. Sure, there are genres like country, metal and hip-hop that I don't like nearly as much as others, but there are still songs/artists I like in those categories too.

I like almost any music EXCEPT screamo. I really can't stand it. I'm alright with the old country and bluegrass music but the new country stuff is retarded. My favorite genres are classical and scandinavian/irish folk. I also love a lot of soundtracks whether it be movie or video game soundtracks. I like the old classic rock before it was so heavy and had those things called harmony.

You'd be surprised just how much music is completely lacking in musicality, actually.
