If Disney buys Nintendo, it will be devastating to the community. They'll be even more harsh on fan projects and Youtubers than what Nintendo already is, ignore any franchise which isn't Mario, Zelda or Pokemon, and my guess is that Nintendo hardware will just disappear and the majority of Nintendo games will be terribly made mobile games.
Luckily, there is absolutley no chance of Disney ever buying Nintendo. right?

Actually, if anyone would ever buy Nintendo somehow, i'd prefer it to be company like Disney. "From it's fruits is the tree known", and in some ways, it might not be a bad match at all.
Edit: On the other hand, Disney of today is not the same as it used to be i think.
I hope Iwata becomes the President of Disney and then buys Nintendo and then turns Reggie into Disney's new mascot with non-specific action figure as Pixar's mascot.

@cookiex I wouldn't say Marvel and Lucasfilms put a dent in Disney's wallet.
$8 billion (the combined price for the purchases of Marvel and Lucasfilm) would put a dent on anybody's wallet, even a wallet as big as Disney's. Nintendo could be worth $8 billion on it's own, possibly even more.

I'd definitely be down with a Zelda or EarthBound, or pretty much any Nintendo franchise made into a movie using the team and animation engines used in their beautiful movies today like Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, and Frozen.

And a Zelda princess movie where she sings a popular musical number leading to millions of internet videos of people making their own version of that song like they did with Frozen's let it go. Also it wouldn't work out because people would expect Disney to make Zelda hard working, spunky, and independent without needing a man to save her so Link would be out of a job LOL!
nope he'd save her nearly the very end of the animation from something unexpected that wasn't suposed to happen but still get almost no credit for doing it.
I guess this means Link will finally got the voice that we all hope and fear. Any good voice actors to play Link?
