Currently doing a Computer Admin job that is easy & pays Ok but I have to work permanent evening shifts Mon-Fri which isn't great for my social life. I am starting a degree in "Computing in Business" in September so i will see where that takes me.
I work at a nursing home as a housekeeper, just until I get out of high school I mow lawns, work on farms, and I am planning on working part time at the grain elevator next summer on the side.
that brings the question... how old are you guys, am I the only guy in his late 20's here?
Nah, if you check the "How old are you?" thread, you'll see you're not alone. Seems to be a good spread of ages. As for me, I used to have a decent paying but dull job in the real estate market until the economic downturn. Now I'm working a dull and low paying job until I bounce back.

I do tech work in higher ed... and I'm currently part of something ominous called Institutional Research. Any of you who have attended a university in your lifetime have been tracked and statistically analyzed by our field, unbeknownst to you...

I work part-time in a games shop. It's not glamorous or exciting but it helps pay the bills.
And I am working part-time for your sister company! I'm also a DBA working at Canary Wharf (London) as of this week (just started back at work after finishing my degree - not seen Sir Alan Sugar yet though... So 5 days in the city, two selling game, and doing stuff here whenever I am not!
Bazaarvoice...company that processes virtually all of the online product review content...I log in from home and work 4-hour shifts once a day...typically finish them in 2 and a half and get paid for 4 (totally legal and cool with higher-ups...the way the pay is structured, intentionally)...greatest job in the history of humanity, and I'm quality assurance now so even more boku cash! Life is grand!
Basically, if you've read a product review on a site other than Amazon.com (they do theirs in-house) chances are I, or one of my co-workers, have seen and approved it.

UNIX sysadmin. I've been doing work in computers for nearly 15 years in one form or another, but mostly with midrange systems running Solaris. I'm hoping to stay gainfully employed through retirement; what else do you want?
I used to do Graphic Design work for quite a while designing ads (colour and B&W), creating stationary and much more. My work actually did get printed in newspapers and such and I'm only 18. It was such an amazing experience (transitioning from a co-op to a summer job) and I miss it tremendously especially since that's what I plan to be doing in the near future.
