I'm sick with this UNO crap. Everywhere else, it's cheaper. UNO WiiWare is 500 in Europe, but in NA it's 1000!!!!!!!!! And on DSiWare, it's 500 in Europe, but 800 in NA. Why? Why are we Americans paying more for the same game?

It's complete crap, I agree. I was looking forward to Uno on DSi, but I'm not giving Nintendo the thumbs-up that it's okay to charge more in NA.

It was 4 bucks on xbox _{and it came with 4 more games}

But yeah, I can see where you're coming from.

Europe also gets charged more on some games than America is. So it goes both ways.

But its fair to be angry when the other region gets the same game for less points. Although I'm not angry at Japan for getting Genesis games for 600, although it would be nice if the same was in America and Europe too.

Why are Americans paying more? Simple, really: they think they can get away with it.

While I still can't fathom the appeal of UNO in game form, I imagine the pricing has something to do with the UNO brand and licensing in the US perhaps being either more marketable or thought to be so. Also, what The Fox said.

Might have something to do with the fact the Euro is worth more than the dollar... Nintendo probably make the same profits on the game even though it's 300/500 points cheaper

The British Pound : Us Dollar is even worse! I once found around 70 Quid at Disney World. It converted to a decent chunk of change.

Let's see...minimum wage in Haiti more than doubled last may to $5.50 US a day. In Zimbabwe 80% of workers earn far less than $41.00 US a month. Imagine how mad they are about UNO prices!

It'll still do well I think. It probaly wont go down anytime soon. I'm tempted to get it anyways. If it DOES go done after, I'm going to be a bit annoyed.
