I need a water stone in HG. Any tips?
A few options:
Get the phone number of Fisher Tulley (Route 42), he'll occasionally ring you to tell you he has an item, it'll be a Water Stone.
Buy one from the Pokéathlon for 2500 Athlete Points on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday (only on Wednesday if you haven't got the National 'Dex yet)
Find one in the Seafoam Islands
Get one from Bill's grandfather by showing him the right Pokémon (won't always get a Water Stone)
Come in first at the Bug Catching Contest (you might win a different type of Stone, though)

iirc, (and it's quite a long time since I last played OoT), you can reach a shoreline on the far side (by jumping across frozen chunks of ice) and bomb the wall there to find a cave. I think.

Its ok Raylax. OoT is the hardest Zelda game i have played. It toke 5 months to beat the Forest Temple and 8 for the Fire Temple and i only have about 7 or 9 hearts.

thanks I have gotten all the keys that I can find, but I found another door that needs a key
@pikamniac, the boss door? Describe the area please! Also, -did you get to the dead end of the dungeon where there is Temple of Time stone? -did you get the megaton hammer?
No you didn't, you went to the shoreline and walked into the wrong cave. You have to jump along the spinning ice chunks, into a cave that is too high up to enter without hopping along the ice.

1. no, not the boss battle 2. you mean the ToT stone that is on a high ledge? if so, then yes, and I went inside and got a heartpiece. is that all I can do in there? 3. nope
