For those of you who may not know, if you are 18 years old or older, you will be eligible to vote in the November elections ( I say elections with an "s" because this election includes voting for Congressman).
Even though we are still a few months away from the voting period and not even the DNC has fully kicked off yet (although the RNC has just wrapped up last week), this November is growing to be one of the most important votes in a long time!
My question to you is not who are you going to vote for. It is not are you a Democrat or a Republican. It is not are you going to vote for President Obama or are you voting for Romney.
I'm voting but for a different election, as in Governor of Puerto Rico. And boy is politics in this island a joke. But i'm voting against the current governor who has done an awful job. Hopefully things here in Puerto Rico will get better soon, or i'm taking a plane to Canada.

Congratulations (insert Applejack YEE HAWWWW )! Though I've lost considerable zest for voting, due to disenfranchisement with the ways of politics and the parties, I was excited in 1996 (Clinton vs. Dole) when I got to vote for the first time!
No. I will either be crying over exams or drinking over exams.

Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
While I can't vote (not being a citizen and all that) I'll be watching with interest.
As an Australian living in the US (particularly during an election year) I find observing the political process as an outsider to be very interesting. Granted, I've got an interest in politics regardless, but things work quite differently over here compared to home.
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

As an Aussie/American I can see your point of view quite clearly. The elections in Australia and America are very different from each other.

Well since I'm under 18 and Canadian I'm not voting in this election, though i can only hope that it doesn't end up like 2000 Florida.
i would hope an important lesson was learned from the 2000 election that will never be repeated, lol — the last election went pretty smoothly in that respect IMO. i was in FL and at my polling place we were given the option to either vote electronically or with the traditional punch-card system. i went with the electronic voting machine, it was pretty neat. :3
